Absolutely the best tour I have ever taken. We visited the highlights of Morocco, covered many different regions of the country. I especially enjoyed learning about the Berber people and the Nomads. Our tour guide Mohammed was efficient, organized and attentive. He took care of each person in the group and made accommodations for everyones needs. Love, love, love this trip! It exceeded my expectations!!!
I'm not sure if you recognise excellence of tour guide specifically, but I just wanted to express how impressed I was with my tour guide of adventure Morocco tour. Abdoul Moussali was an exceptional tour guide who was informative, friendly, caring, and hilarious. This trip was definitely one of the best I have ever had, and by far the best tour I have ever been on. Please let me know if there is any way I can nominate him for any further recognition. I am also sure that many, if not all, of the other travellers would be interesting in recognising his excellence in any way possible.
This tour was amazing. Lots to see and do. But what really made this trip exceptional was the staff. The tour guide, Abder, was amazing. He constantly went above and beyond to meet our needs and make sure we were having a great time. He was kind, patient, and has a real passion for what he does. Also has a great sense of humor. I would also like to commend our driver, Abdul. He was kind and hospitable. Drove safely and has a great sense of humor too. All in all, the food, staff, people, culture, and country was great.

Itinerary was fascinating, food and cultural experiences were wonderful, all local people interactions were friendly and hospitable, tour leader was excellent, Morocco is a wonderful country. A bit too much windshield time between sites but this can't be avoided. The hotels, riads, and gites were fun and authentic. Loved this trip.
Highly recommend this trip. A really varied trip showing the best that Morocco has to offer. Marrakech is very manic and a bit 'in your face' but thanks to an excellent tour leader and local guide the group were able to find our way to such hidden gems as the Majorelle Gardens (Yves St Laurent's former gardens) and the 'Secret' Garden. The trip up to the Atlas Mountains and stay in Douar Samra was nothing short of magical, I got to stay in the Tree House while others stayed in the very unusual and individual rooms in the house or annex. Meals were a delight thanks to the marvellous cooking of Rashida the resident cook and the atmospheric use of candles (there is no electricity in the main house) and traditional low level seating and tables. Your luggage is transported the final distance by donkey and there are also ducks and all vegetables are grown in the Douar's vegetable garden. Fabulous views and sunsets and great walking in the mountains. However the gem is absolutely Essaouira. I had never heard of this place before but it is the most delightful and fascinating seaside town. Again great orientation tour from local guide Rashida and plenty of time to enjoy the shopping, sweeping sandy beach, bars, restaurants and busy exciting fishing harbour. Our leader, Abdul, was very informative and accommodating and great fun. Morocco is well worth a visit and I will be back!
Indulge in a feast for the senses as you embark on an 18-day Premium journey through Morocco. Explore the blue washed streets of Chefchaouen, Meknes’s animated medina, the historical Old Town of Fes and the lively Djemaa el-Fna square in Marrakech. Sip tea with an Amazigh family in the Dades Valley, eat pastilla in the home of a Fes local, spend an unforgettable evening beneath the stars in the Sahara and slow down in the seaside town of Essaouira. From varied culture to boundless hospitality, discover a country that defies expectations.
The tour was great to get an overview of the country, very well organized , bus driver was fantastic, hotel were good with good breakfast. The oco lodge was the nicest place to stay. More time in Fez would be great, sadly there was no spare time to explore. The gorge walk was a bit more difficult than explained and it should probably say that older people might struggle as there was no path and we were hiking over slippery and steep terrain, having to step over rocks. I think we were all a bit surprised by the difficulty of the walk. But the local guide there was fabulous and meeting a berber family was very nice experience. I would stop the trips to the overpriced tourist shops and production areas with sometimes aggressive selling and rather visit small businesses the Moroccan people use. We requested to stop at a seller by the road which was a great experience and a fraction of the price. The local guides were fabulous, full of enthusiasm and giving plenty of info on the walks and beyond ,making it very interesting . Sadly that can't be said about the explore Tourguide. I never had a Tourguide with such little enthusiasm and interest in the guests. He only spoke minimum, didn't give much info about Morocco, didn't stay with the meals when taking us to his place of choice (sadly often full of tourists with moderate food, small private places provided much better food and half the price) Instead he wondered off to see friends. Orientation walks were just rushing with no photo stop and not much guidance , no maps were handed out like on other tours. When I asked what museum to see in Marrakesh the answer was to check Google. That's disappointing. We considered to see the Louis Vuitton garden but needed booking in advance and was sold out by the time we arrived. This is something the guide should have told us and organized. I also never had a tour where the guide leaves early. The tour was till 20.10 but he left 2 days earlier
on the 18.10 for another tour. He put us into a taxi after dinner but couldn't be bothered to take us to the hotel just said goodbye. I have been on several tours and know that was an exception but one lady was first time with explore and very disappointed.
Every part of the tour was well thought out and carefully planned. We got to see a little bit of everything Morocco has to offer. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to have a full Moroccan experience.
The journey of a lifetime awaits in Morocco on this exhilarating two week adventure. From the sights and sounds of Marrakech, the ancient Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and the vast Sahara Desert, to the history of Fes, Rabat and Meknes, there’s plenty to amaze. Plus top off your trip with a relaxing few days by the coast in breezy Essaouira.
Excellent trip in general. Only negative points for me were that some accommodation was a little tired, the mosque is destroyed but still on the agenda, the argon oil sales trip was a waste of time and there could have been less driving. But many more positives than negatives
