Colombo 12-Day Tours and Trips

From a warm welcome at the airport to a sad goodbye at the end, this was the best holiday we have ever had! Our tour leader ensured we experienced the real Sri Lanka in a responsible way with numerous activities and something to suit everyone. Our group of 8 adults and 8 children (aged 10-17) became great friends and the organisation of our leader meant we could relax and enjoy our holiday. Be warned - going back to work is difficult after such a great trip!!

We had an amazing time on this trip; all of the members of our family- 2 adults and 3 children aged 16, 14 and 12 enjoyed it hugely. It was a great mix of culture, wildlife and beaches! Sri Lanka is a gorgeous island, the people are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was fantastic- we especially enjoyed the food made by local families, which we lucky enough to try several times

A fantastic introduction to a wonderful country. Our host, Sujee, couldn't do enough for us. My daughter and I have returned home recounting so many wonderful experiences to our family and friends.

the tour was a great introduction to this very beautiful and exotic island. It was well organized and well paced providing a balance of culture and nature, with plenty of relaxing time too.

Night under canvas listening to animal noises ruined by local very loud party until 2am Lion Rock. the walk into the rock itself is not easy as very uneven ground and lots of steps. definitely need walking poles if at all unsure on balance. Grand Hotel, Nuwara Eliya. Lots of staff but very slow service in bars and restaurants. 2 nights in Galle with own time to explore old town would have been much preferred to 2 nights at Bentota. Jeep ride around Colombo started well, but monsoon rain meant that we were all drenched, and commentary stopped. street food was just picked up from 3 men standing in side street. I had images of a street food market. the food itself in a cardboard box was just rice with a small amount of chicken, and a sweet sauce and chilli sauce, finally eaten in our hotel room. We have recently finished the Sri Lanka tour with the tour operator and enjoyed it immensely. The scenery was beautiful and the cycling was very enjoyable. Our guides and support staff were excellent and they couldn't do enough to help you. The ride up to Hatton was challenging and does demand a fair degree of fitness in the heat, but it was worth the energy when you arrived. Everyone rides at their own pace and the back up vehicles are ever present. This is one of the best holidays we have ever had and I highly recommend this tour operator if you are considering a truly memorable cycling holiday. Sri Lanka is an incredibly beautiful country with equally beautiful people!
