Colombo Tours in September 2027

Just returned from this trip. It was a brilliant 2 weeks. So varied and enjoyable. The hotels are a great standard with exceptional food choice and a pool at every one. Everyday is something different, lots of opportunities to spot wildlife, learn about the culture and see beautiful scenery. Sri lanka is a wonderful country, you won't regret booking this holiday.

This was a wonderful tour. My sixth trip with Explore and my best. Our excellent tour leader, Cham, was both knowledgeable and went out of his way to be helpful and the Sri Lankan people were invariably friendly, welcoming and polite. Sri Lanka is so diverse it has attractions for everyone from tropical surf beaches to hiking in the mountains, rainforest and tea plantation hill country, visiting the temples and stupas of ancient cities to safari trips in the national parks, plus a high standard of hotels and some wonderful cuisine. My one gripe was although we stayed in some luxury hotels with swimming pools and great views, the itinerary was so full on that we often had very little time to enjoy the hotel. But I realise, you can't have it both ways!

Just back from this trip, it was our first trip to Sri Lanka and our second trip with Exodus. It was a really great trip, really varied, we saw so much and yet the pace was just perfect. A beautiful country and very friendly and safe.

It was definitely a trip to remember, your professionalism exceeded all standards and expectations! Our tour guide/driver Namla managed to make our trip exceptional, he was full of knowledge, very attentive and respectful. Be sure to ask for Namal as you plan your trip!

Our tour included the visit of the ancient capitals of the country, the most important temples and also focused on the current culture and society. A mixture of nature and history, which allows you to learn a lot from this experience. Our vacation was perfect thanks also to our guide Gayal, who made it unforgettable. We had a great time in Sri Lanka, the Guide was extremely nice, the locations well thought out and the organisation took very good care of us. The Hotels were, with 1-2 exceptions, very nice. We can absolutely recommend this trip and company.
