Cartagena Tours in Summer

If you want to see all Colombia has to offer, this is the trip! From the coast to the cloud forest, you do get to experience SO much culture on this trip. The leader was brilliant and the locals all so very friendly.

Two weeks through Colombia and Peru, and it felt like we packed in a lifetime of memories. It was busy, yes, but in the best way, every day brought something new and unexpected. Cartagena was our first stop, hot and humid, but absolutely beautiful. Great seafood & some of the most charming streets I’ve walked through in a long time. The coffee region was a real highlight for me. I’ve always enjoyed a good cup but actually seeing how it’s grown and meeting the people behind it added a whole new appreciation. Brought back a few bags and now I can’t drink anything else. Bogota was big and bustling. A bit hectic at times, but had a nice energy to it. The view from Monserrate was well worth the climb (well...cable car in our case!). Then Peru — absolutely stunning. Machu Picchu is everything they say and more. Pictures don’t do it justice. The Sacred Valley was peaceful, Cusco was full of character, and Lake Titicaca? Fascinating. I had no idea about the floating islands before this. A few early mornings here and there, but that’s part of the deal when you want to see so much. Would definitely recommend this trip to fellow travelers 50+ who are still up for an adventure but want it all organized for you. Just pack your walking shoes and an open mind, South America will take care of the rest.

Jairo wonderfully welcomed us into the beautiful country of Colombia and guided us throughout our amazing journey across multiple cities. From the wax palm trees of the Cocora Valley to the inspiring murals of Comuna 13, and from the picturesque hacienda to the colourful walls of Cartagena, Jairo gifted us with his superb knowledge, exceptional hospitality, and unbeatable enthusiasm. My 10-day trip to Colombia was short, but it was an incredibly educational and transformative experience for me. I know our journey wouldn't be the same without such a professional, caring, engaging, and passionate CEO, and I believe Jairo is making a meaningful impact to both Colombia and the travellers he's met. Returning from my tour, I've been blessed with enriching knowledge of the country's history, art, biodiversity, and economy, as well as an abundance of refreshing perspectives from various communities of the region on nature, life, and wealth. Colombia touched my heart and we were beyond lucky to have Jairo as our CEO!

I went on the Colombia tour lead by Jose and had the absolute best time! It was a jam packed itinerary but the perfect balance of fun, exploration and relaxation. Jose was a fantastic tour guide and made sure we all had the best time as well as being extremely organised and welcoming! Met amazing people and could not recommend the tour enough! This was the first time I’ve ever been to South America and I can say for sure I’ll be back to explore some more

From learning the deep history of Colombia, to visiting its most iconic locations filled with music, great vibes and colourful artwork, this was a trip I’ll never forget. The nights out with the group really made the trip too, great fun!
