Antalya Tours in Winter

This is an excellent trip, mainly visiting Greco-Roman sites in SW Turkey but also visiting scenic areas and going on short walks. Sites are a mixture of well known (eg Ephesus) and off the beaten track (eg Sagalassos). Great tour leader (Tim), good accommodation and good food.

Excellent tour of archaeological sites in SW Turkey, with its variety of scenery and fascinating history. Organisation and itinerary were excellent. Our tour leader Tim was the very best. He was highly competent, knowledgeable with excellent communication skills. There was nothing he didn’t know about the history, geography, flora and fauna of the area we visited. He attended to all our needs including arranging great local restaurants for group lunches and dinners. The tour was fairly full on, but no early starts or really long journeys. There were 12 of us, we got on well. It was a bit of a risk to go in November but lovely weather, blue skies and no rain. And very few tourists! Food was very good. Hotels were good or excellent apart from the hotel in Elmali where there was no other choice in the vicinity. So many highlights, Aphrodisias, Ephesus and Sagalossos but also less visited sights like Termessos and Caunos. The optional boat trip Tim arranged for us on the free day at Kas could not have been better.

Busy itinerary mainly based on visiting lots of Greek/Roman sites which are all stunning and each with a unique character but also the opportunity to see some other more recent historical sites and some stunning scenery (beach, lake, mountains) to get an insight into the country. Lots of things to see and do on the free day at Kas. Good standard of accommodation and transport. Tour leader is very knowledgeable and genuinely friendly and chatty.

I like the trip realy enjoyed but have a comment about the daily inyerary the time its not enough for visting specilly if we have to vist 2 or 3 places per day we cant enjoying we are very hurry so pleas we need mor time for each visit. By the way this 4th time to join europamond Thanks a lot

The Lycian guided walk from Fettiye to Antayla was a wonderful experience with two very capable and personable guides… our leader Egemen and cultural guide Tuncay. They were wonderful companions as well as expert guides. We were a small group and at times our pace was slow however adjustments were made accordingly. The coastal scenery was sensational and well worth the effort of walking up and down stony tracks! We swam every day, ate terrific authentic Turkish meals and the accomodation was very good. We learnt so much about this historic part of Turkey.

It was a great experience in Turkey with my family. We enjoyed every part of this trip with the best service. The hotels we stayed were great, and the tours we attended were outstanding with professional tour guides. And the company was very professional and helpful during our visit. Highly recommended.
