It was an incredible, fast paced journey. We got a quick samples of many sites. Visited cities that we wouldn't have prioritized but we were wonderfully surprised. Great trip for first timers to the country or someone who wants as much site seeing experiences as possible in a relatively short period of time. The itinerary was perfectly designed.

Vienna was the favorite part of the tour for me. The concert the last evening in Vienna was wonderful. The palace and the grounds were so beautiful. Javier did a wonderful job as our tour guide. He included everyone and made it an amazing experience!

I liked everything about the itinerary except for the glassblowing, leather, and gold demonstrations. Those three "experiences" felt more like "high pressure sales" opportunities for Insight and those companies. I felt somewhat taken advantage of. We were told we were "saving" money and receiving special discounts by purchasing items through this special demonstration...only to pay more in the long run with duty fees. I spent over $900 for 6 wine glasses, and still need to pay an additional $300 to Mail Boxes, etc. to have them actually ship the products to us. I feel like what we were told at the time of sale and what really ended up happening were two different stories. It made me wonder if Insight receives any sort of "kick backs:" or commissions from the sales. It left a bad flavor in my mouth. I feel like those little 10 minute "demonstrations" were not worth it, and should not be a part of future itineraries! Everything else was absolutely perfect!

Fast-paced, giving us opportunity to see so many of Europe's highlights in a compressed schedule. Transportation was very comfortable - from the many water taxi rides in Venice to the comfortable coach moving to other cities, to horse and carriage and gondola rides in Switzerland... transportation was a big plus. Also, the many hotels were all comfortable with top-quality breakfasts included. I recommend this tour if you want to see a lot in a short time frame.
