Reviews of our Wales Tours for June
Feedback from guests who toured Wales during June.
We had a wonderful time, our tour guide was great, our driver was awsome , oh & the sites were pretty awesome, too! The hotels we stayed at were really nice & very charming!
Wales is such a beautiful part of the UK - so many shades of green and our Back Roads tour took some lovely tree lined lanes and back roads. Our tour guide John was wonderful and very attentive and helpful to all on tge tour. Our coach driver Simon was funny and amusing but kept us safe with his navigating of all the roads and lanes we took.
Just wish we spent more time in Snowdonia National Park It was a two minute stop, take a photo then back on the bus. The train ride was disappointing as it was not the one described in our broucher. Could not see much scenery because of the trees. We all just sat on the train and talked to each other, nobody looking out the windows. Maybe omit that and spend more time in Snowdonia or another town. Rest of the trip was superb. Food and hotels were excellent. Driver and tour guide did their job well.
We all enjoyed this lovely tour. Our guide, Neil and driver, Mark were excellent. I learned so much about Wales as our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. And very organised. We stayed at some great places. Wales is beautiful and Neil made it even better.
Beautiful landscapes, interesting sights including castles, churches, Roman ruins and beachside towns and an interesting railroad excursion. Included dinners were excellent as were the picturesque small hotels. I was especially impressed by my tour guide Terry Gibson who was extremely knowledgable and provided a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for touring. Dmitri our driver was excellent in his driving ability and his friendliness. I would recommend the tour to someone who wishes to see Wales in depth.
Excellant tour. Something for everyone with a very knowledgable and kind guide who went out of his way to meet everyone's needs. The driver was excellent and his personal knowledge of the area added to the experience.
