Brazil Tours in August 2026

I was excited to get away for a few weeks, but I had no time to plan anything. I looked into group tours and had found CharlieTheTraveler tours seemed to have everything I was looking for in a trip—cultural and adventurous activities, great food, and a knowledgeable tour guide. The trip to South Brazil was no exception. Every moment of the trip had something planned, which meant I was never stuck waiting for the next activity to begin or trying to figure out how to fill in time. My favorite part of the trip was getting on a helicopter to ride over the Iguazu Falls. The views were breathtaking and unforgettable!

I love adventure, so I was drawn to the itinerary of CharlieTheTraveler’s South Brazil for multiple reasons. This trip not only included adventurous activities such as horseback riding, but it also included many guided tours of different parts of South Brazil. I was able to see a variety of sights in different parts of the country, which was very adventurous for me!

Brazil has such an interesting history and I am glad to have learned as much as I did on my trip to South Brazil. CharlieTheTraveler had provided excellent tour guides that were really passionate about tourism. I felt appreciated as a tourist, which I had never felt before when visiting other countries. This made me appreciate the culture and history of the country even more and made me want to learn more. I loved seeing all of the architecture in Ouro Preto and learning the history behind the town. This trip was truly an experience of a lifetime!

This trip delivered in bucket loads. There was wildlife everywhere we looked. Copious capybara and caiman. Three fantastic sightings of jaguar (a mother and two cubs and two solitary jaguar) and three amazing sightings of giant otter groups. Birds everywhere including imperious jabiru storks, kingfishers, herons, hawks and jacana. And it was great to be in a remote location on the Paraguay River. Apart from the odd fisherman in small boats, there was only our boat and one other from the lodge on the water. Most of the time we had the river to ourselves. The second lodge is a little busier and not quite so remote, but we still saw lots of wildlife including tapir, collared peccary, crab-eating foxes and a stunning southern tamandua.

Beautiful beaches, adventurous day trips, exploring the Amazon Rainforest…these are just some of the amazing things I saw and did on my trip to North Brazil. This touring company has created not just a tour but an experience. I enjoyed everything I did and would have never been able to plan something nearly as great. CharlieTheTraveler will forever be my go-to trip planning company!

The South Brazil trip organized by CharlieTheTraveler proved to be very worth the price. The trip includes a variety of activities which was great for me, as I get bored easily. I enjoyed touring the Iguazu National Park on the Argentina side, as it is a whole other experience. It was interesting to see the two different sides of the national park. The company provided an excellent tour guide who got to know me, which made me feel a lot more comfortable on the two-week long trip!
