day 1 - Colombo Arrival - Negombo (d)
On your arrival at Colombo Airport, your local English-speaking chauffeur driver will pick you up and transfer you to Heritance Negombo or similar.
Depending on your flight arrival, afternoon at leisure and enjoy a Welcome Dinner that celebrates the unique flavors of the region. Held at the hotel, this evening promises an unforgettable experience as we indulge in a menu featuring authentic regional dishes.

day 2 - Negombo - Colombo City Tour (b,d)
Our tour guide and driver will pick you up after breakfast for a city tour. Our first visit is the Fort area of Colombo follow by Colombo National Museum to see some of the great specimens of arts crafts and archeology of Colombo.
Continue your tour of Colombo through the Wolfendhal Dutch Church, Hulfts dorp Law Courts as you drive along the residential area of Cinnamon Gardens, and also visit the Independence Square and Bandaranayake Memorial International Conference Hall.

day 3 - Negombo - Pinnawala - Sirigiya (b,d)
After breakfast, we will travel to Sigiriya. On the way, we will visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
Pinnawela, where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 65 now; including baby elephants brought from various parts, as well as some of the more than 25 babies born, as a result of the captive breeding programme.
Afterwards, continue travelling to Sigiriya, home to the 5th century Rock Fortress, also known as "Lion Rock". Check in Heritance Kandalama and we will spend the afternoon discovering the fortress.

day 4 - Polonnaruwa - Anuradhapura - Sirigiya (b,d)
Today we will travel to Polonnaruwa after breakfast. The medieval capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th - 13th C.A.D. Great revival was achieved in the country, politically, economically and socially during the period of Kings Vijayabahu 1, Parakramabahu 1 and Nissankamalla of the Polonnaruwa period.
After lunch, we will visit the impressive ruins of Anuradhapura, the largest and oldest of Sri Lanka's ancient cities, dating back to the 6th century.

day 5 - Sirigiya & Hot Air Balloon - Dambulla - Matale - Kandy (b,d)
In the morning, enjoy unforgettable moments on the Sunrise Hot Air Balloon in Sirigiya.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel then we will travel to Kandy. On the way, we will visit the Dambulla Temple and the Spice Garden at Matale. The Dambulla Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, features a remarkable complex of cave temples with ancient murals and statues. Next, at the Matale Spice Garden, you'll explore lush gardens where spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and pepper are cultivated and learn about their processing. You can also purchase fresh spices and traditional remedies.
Later, check in The Kandy House.

day 6 - Kandy - Peradeniya - Kandy (b,d)
After breakfast, you will visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Extending over 147 acres, the Royal Botanical Gardens were established in 1374 as a pleasure garden for the Kings of Kandy. The gardens are home to more than 5,000 species of trees and plants, including both endemic flora and species from the tropical world. The Spice Garden and Orchid House are particularly popular with tourists.
Enjoy an afternoon city tour in Kandy.
Kandy is the hill capital, venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism's influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple's shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere.
This evening you will have a chance to enjoy the Kandy Cultural Dance Performance.

day 7 - Kandy - Scenic Train - Hatton (b,l,d)
Enjoy your leisure time at Kandy.
We will then board the scenic train for our journey to Hatton.

day 8 - Hatton - The Tea Country (b,d)
After breakfast, take in a special hotel tea service featuring handpicked Ceylon tea leaves.
Enjoy the remainder of the day at your own pace, perhaps unwinding with a spa treatment or setting out on a bicycle ride through the surrounding tea plantations.

day 9 - Hatton - Yala National Park (b,l,d)
After breakfast leave to Yala. Evening safari at Yala National Park.
Yala is a haven for fauna both indigenous and migrant. Bird concentrations are by the Lagoons. Here are thousands of flamingos, assemblies of spotted billed, Spoonbills, Cormorants and various species of Herons. Pheasants, Pea Fowl, Peacocks and the Wild Fowl are found in hundreds. Wild Buffalo and herds of Wild Elephants are a common sight. Whether it is birds or animals you have them all at Yala.

day 10 - Yala National Park (b,l,d)
Today you will complete your wildlife discovery with an early morning safari and afternoon safari.
During these excursions, we will track leopards, elephants, wild buffalo, musk deer, mongoose, pangolins, sloth bears, black bears, macaques, jackals, and numerous bird species.

day 11 - Yala - Galle (b,d)
After breakfast, you will depart for a city tour of Galle.
Galle Fort, located in the Bay of Galle on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, was initially constructed by the Portuguese in 1588 and later extensively fortified by the Dutch beginning in 1649. It stands as a significant historical, archaeological, and architectural heritage monument.
Check in your hotel and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

day 12 - Galle - International Flight - Male, Maldives (b)
Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight to Male, Maldives.
Then transfer to the seaplane terminal for your flight to your island resort.
