Honest insights from past guests on our Eco Sri Lanka tours

Sudesh, the group leader/guide, was excellent. He was knowledgeable, kind and always went the extra mile for each guest. I can't praise him highly enough. I think the itinerary could be adjusted to make it even better. I would recommend 'doing' Colombo on the first day, rather than the last, and spending the last couple of days resting on the beautiful beaches. It is a very busy tour and by the end of the holiday a big busy city with yet another temple rather loses its attraction. overall, though a great holiday.

The Walking in Sri Lanka trip was very well put together, travelling to a number of key sights without feeling too hurried. The walking elements added a lot to the trip, with time spent looking around, enjoying the countryside and talking with guides and other members of the group of 14. The accommodation was well chosen for convenience and a taste of the real Sri Lanka rather than "international" hotels that could be anywhere. The leader, Su, was very knowledgeable and able to put things into context very well. He suggested restaurants which were very good and arranged a number of picnic lunches which were very tasty. There were a number of early starts, but there was always time to recover later in the day. The drivers were brilliant and drove both on narrow windy roads and in city traffic with confidence and made me feel safe all the time.

Incredible 2 weeks covering the whole of Sri Lanka !

An amazing all round trip - Sri Lanka is one of my favourite countries I have been to so far ! Sri Lanka truly offers everything from beaches ,mountains, safaris and forests. The people are so friendly and the food is incredible . This trip enables you to see the whole of Sri Lanka at a fair pace - you able to see all the main attractions and the lesser known spots as well . There is a perfect amount of free time allowing you time to relax by the pool or enjoy the hotel . The hotels were of high standard and the service at all of them was exceptional. I felt like we had sufficient time in every place and everything ran so smoothly. We were able to see and learn so much in the two weeks. This holiday was incredibly well planned and run . Thank you Exodus !

This is one of the best trips I have been on with Explore in a beautiful country. The guide was excellent, the walks were good, lots of wildlife and visits to some of the main sites in Sri Lanka. Would thoroughly recommend although the steps up and down to Adam’s Peak were challenging and there were plenty of leeches on some of the walks.

Sri Lanka is a truly wonderful country to visit. We enjoyed every part of the tour and it was fantastic how our guide made sure our son got to have the most exciting experiences. Highlights of the trip were spotting elephants, river rafting, lions rock at sunrise, the game safari, drinking tea and tasting the delicious local food. The Sri Lankans made us feel very welcome and our local guide Ash was brilliant, very informative and made sure we were well looked after.
