Completely renovated in 2017 according to the company’s new standards, this ship now offers much more spacious cabins with large bay windows on the upper deck. The soft and feminine decoration mixes shades of pink with aubergine and anise colors in the common areas. The cabins evoke a marine atmosphere.Located on the upper deck, the lounge / bar (at the front) and the restaurant (at the rear) have wide panoramic windows. The cabins are spread over two decks: on the upper deck, they have large windows with French balconies; on the main deck, they have large windows. Do not hesitate to go to the sun deck to relax! It isfurnished with armchairs and sun loungers to allow you to relax while enjoying a panoramic view of the landscapes.
Named after the famous German virtuoso, the MS Beethoven sails on the Rhine and Danube rivers. It takes cruise passengers to discover the many wonders offered by these two romantic rivers. Completely renovated in 2010, the MS Beethoven is a standard ship that measures 110m long and 11m wide and accommodates 180 passengers in 90 cabins on 3 decks. The size of a cabin is between 11.50m2 to 13m2, offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The refined decoration and the elegant and friendly atmosphere are in perfect harmony with its environment. Located at the main deck, the restaurant, where all meals are served during the cruise, offers a delicate cuisine in a refined setting, where wide windows allow you to fully enjoy the panorama. Situated on the middle deck is the lounge / bar with a dance floor, while a piano-bar welcomes cruise passengers on the upper deck in a cozy atmosphere. We'll then cruise up the beautiful Wachau Valley all the way to Dürnstein, passing gothic ruins and picturesque villages along the way. Afternoon: free time OR optional excursions not included in the package:Visit of the Széchenyi Baths (3). Drive to this vast thermal complex. Nestled in the heart of Budapest, the Széchenyi Baths are a true architectural jewel in neo-Baroque style. A short guided visit will allow you to discover the premises before enjoying the indoor and outdoor pools, saunas and steam rooms, or simply relaxing in a steaming thermal bath. Don’t forget your swimsuits – this is a unique opportunity. Return to the ship.ORVisit of the Budapest Market Halls. Walk to the Budapest market halls. With its sparkling Zsolnay tile roof, the Great Market Hall of Budapest is the largest hall built in the 19th century. You will discover an incredible variety of products, including the famous paprika garlands. A tasting of local Hungarian specialties will conclude your visit. Return to the ship on foot.In the evening, optional CLASSIC/DISCOVERY excursion: Folklore evening in Budapest, where you will discover traditional Gypsy dances and costumes.Return on board and overnight sailing towards Esztergom.
Once we arrive, enjoy some free time in Esztergom, one of the oldest cities in Hungary. The afternoon will be spent cruising to Vienna. Tonight is our gala evening. Our ship will sail through the night.
