Spectacular Norwegian Fjords with Cruise Experience

Welcome to the Kingdom of Norway – a country known for its beautiful fjords! Upon arrival, you will make your own way from the airport to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can start exploring Norway. Walk along the streets and explore the city of the royal family and the main Karl Johan’s Street, with many shops, bars and cafes.

Overnight in Oslo 

In the morning after Breakfast, you will meet your Tour Leader at our hotel reception for an informative meeting about your tour. You will then be transferred to Oslo train station (if it is not within walking distance) to board the train to Trondheim. This journey will offer you stunning views of the Norwegian countryside, the longest lake Mjosa and the Vinstra region along the way. Trondheim is the third largest city in the country. The Vikings settled on the estuary of the Nidelven River in the tenth century. Before the sixteenth century, it was called Nidaros. It was a Green and flowery city, and it was pleasant to stroll in the center, in the pedestrian streets and the old quarters. Panoramic tour of the city with a glimpse of the Cathedral of Nidaros, which is one of the most beautiful Gothic ensembles in Northern Europe. Your 02-hour panoramic city tour of Trondheim ends at the hotel. Check in and relax.

Overnight in Trondheim

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port to board the Cruise. The cruise will sail through the wide Trondheim fjord that is bounded by rolling farmland on both sides and enter the coast and the open sea. You can disembark in Kristiansund and be driven along the Atlantic Ocean Road, which has been called the world's most beautiful drive (extra fee applies). The road meanders along islets and skerries. Afterward, you can re-embark in Molde. Enjoy lunch on board. Afternoon is at free onboard. Enjoy dinner in the evening.

The Atlantic Ocean Road, often hailed as the world's most beautiful drive, features a stunning route with dramatic bridges and rugged coastal scenery. Spanning 8.3 kilometers, it winds through a series of islands and islets, offering spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Norway’s rugged coastline, making it a must-see for travelers.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast on cruise. The last day of the cruise takes you through a diverse coastal landscape of bare Rocky Mountains and a maze of sounds and waterways. The great fjords and glaciers are situated inland. Enjoy your lunch onboard as you approach the end of your cruise voyage in Bergen. Bergen is the Gateway to the Fjords of Norway. As a UNESCO World Heritage City and a European City of Culture, the Bergen region has the ideal combination of nature, culture and exciting urban life all year around. Upon arrival in Bergen, meet your local guide and enjoy a tour of the city. Pass through the most emblematic places, such as the Hanseatic Bryggen with the church of Mary, the Hakon fortress and the famous fish market.

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to admire the views from the mountains surrounding Bergen. The Floibanen funicular in Bergen is one of Norway’s best-known and most visited attractions. The journey up to Floyen (320 m above sea level) takes about 5–8 minutes. After a funicular trip, you will taste specialties like smoked salmon, fresh shrimp, or hot smoked whale in one of the restaurants at the fish market. Set sail at 14:00 on a scenic roundtrip fjord cruise from Bergen to Mostraumen. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of iconic landmarks such as the colorful Bryggen Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as dramatic mountainsides, cascading waterfalls, and the narrow Mostraumen strait. The cruise returns to Bergen at 17:30, with both departure and return taking place at Torget 2 in the heart of the city.

Overnight in Bergen

In the morning after breakfast, depart towards Harnager fjord. A short cruise to reach Bondhus. From here, you will start your hiking adventure. The trail is very easy, and one-way hiking will take around 30 minutes. The magnificent icefall and valley have drawn tourists since the mid-1800s. As you walk from the quay in Sundal, a hamlet on the shore of the Maurangerfjord, you are retracing a historic path toward Bondhusvatnet Lake. Late afternoon, embark on the electric boat to enjoy Hardanger, known as one of the most romantic destinations in Norway. Fruit production is the core of Hardanger and in May/June, the fjord is surrounded by rows on rows of fruit trees blossoming in pink and white. Add the views of snow-covered peaks and the romantic vibes are complete. Whether you are staying inside the vessel’s lounges or standing outside on the deck, you will have great views of the scenic landscape dotted with small farms and cute villages. Overnight in Sorfjorden

After breakfast, depart towards Flam. If you decide to take the optional train ride, the bus will drop you at the train station in Voss. The first part of the train journey takes you to Myrdal station. Myrdal station is a mountain railway station and junction located about 13 km from the village of Flam. There, you will switch to the Flamsbana train (not included). Flamsbana is one of the steepest train lines in the world and the train journey runs through fantastic nature, past the Rallar road, steep mountains, breathtaking waterfalls, through 20 tunnels and offers so many viewpoints that many feel like traveling multiple times between the mountain and the fjord.

Whether you arrive here by bus or train, in Flam, you will, join a cruise to Gudvangen, sailing through the idyllic Sognefjord, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Free time in Gudvangen to explore this village inhabited by Vikings. After lunch, you will head toward Gol. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Optional: Flamsbana Train Ride (Voss-Myrdal -Flam)

The Flamsbana Train Ride, from Voss to Myrdal to Flam, is a breathtaking journey through Norway’s dramatic landscapes. The route features steep climbs, picturesque valleys, and cascading waterfalls, offering travelers stunning views of the fjords and mountains. This scenic train ride is renowned for its exceptional beauty and engineering marvels.

Optional: Entrance to Viking with Viking experience

Enjoy entrance to the Viking Museum, where you can immerse yourself in an authentic Viking experience. Explore exhibits of ancient artifacts, interactive displays and reenactments that bring Viking history and culture to life.

Today after breakfast, you will return to Oslo. Continue along the beautiful scenery of the Norwegian highlands and coast of Lake Kroderen. In the afternoon, upon arrival in Oslo, you will enjoy a 3-hour sightseeing tour with a local guide. The guided tour of the city includes a visit to Frogner Park, with all sculptural Vigeland. You will also see the magnificent Royal Palace, City Hall and Akershus Fortress. The remainder of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, depending on your flight details, enjoy some last-minute shopping for Viking souvenirs before making your own way to Oslo Airport for your return flight home.
