We heard about and saw so much history. The guides were very informative. I came away feeling more familiar with the south. We also had opportunities to explore on our own. Good trip.
Our tour guide's knowledge really enhanced our experience.
Erin Ross was a great host got us around where we needed to go and when. Charleston was great along with Savannah could have spent another day in each along with Jekyll Island.
My tour was a wonderful experience. Wesley was an excellent tour manager. I met some wonderful people and the areas were beautiful. The purchase was not that costly.
The most memorable experience was listening to a riveting storyteller at Boone Hall Plantation outside Charleston. Her talk was interspersed with bits of songs illustrating how the enslaved used them in their daily lives.
Great time and so much to see. Jekyll Island was my favorite because I've never been there. Love the South.

Jekyll Island
It was lovely to visit Charleston and Savannah and Jekyll Island. One of our most favorite moments was when we stumbled on to a tour of the Jekyll Island facility. The history was fascinating and the tour guide did a superb job.
Loved staying at Jekyll Island. Made me feel like I was one of the rich and famous families of the 1800’s.
We had so much fun. We saw beautiful sights, ate incredible food, and learned a lot about the area. The tours and guides were fantastic. We rented bicycles on Jekyll Island and road around the island on a wonderful bike path. It was a highlight. I’ve already recommended this trip to several friends.
Each tour was well thought out and precisely designed to give the audience a feel for the region. What was not to like!? BUT I loved the plantation and Jekel island. The flights to and from weren’t well planned! We arrived back in Austin at 12:30 AM after having the Jacksonville to Miami flight cancelled. Yes! I said Miami! Why??
The accommodations were great. Hotels were centrally located with very good restaurants and attractions within walking distance. My favorite was the history lesson we received at the Boone Plantation and the Pin Point Museum. I also enjoyed Driftwood Beach and seeing the Angel tree.
Excellent tour, well paced and delightful !
Our tour manager, Wesley Glass, gave me a wonderful experience with all his information and organization of 44 people. Every day was a great adventure. I enjoyed each destination and it's hard to pick a favorite. Charleston had the wonderful horse carriage ride and Boone Plantation, Savannah had an informative walking tour and I love River Street, and Jekyll Island was relaxing and I enjoyed the sunset and fire pit with s'mores with new friends.
