Scandinavian Escape

Top 5 in my Bucket List is visiting the Scandinavian Countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland). I have always been intrigued by these countries due to my fascination with the Vikings history! And surely this tour did not disappoint at all! Enjoyed every moment and surely one of the best tours I have had!

The territory covered in such a short period of time was FUNtastic!

This was a very pleasant trip through Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, touching down in Copenhagen, some small town spots in Denmark, Bergen, through the Norwegian countryside, Oslo, Karlstand, Sigtuna, and ending in Stockholm. Definitely a value-based tour with stays in some budget hotels that are not located centrally, but are located close to public transportation should it be needed. Especially appreciated the hotel in Copenhagen being close to the airport as we arrived on an overnight flight and just wanted to crash in the lobby awaiting our tour leader. Being a few stops away by metro was very convenient. Favorite part of the trip was the entire country of Norway. Do not miss the optional fjord cruise in Norway and do not fall asleep on the coach through the Norwegian countryside!

Really enjoyed this first tour with Expat. The tour leader was excellent, as was the driver. We bonded well as a group and there were very few issues. I personally found it quite tiring, but it was worth it to be able to experience what the tour had to offer.

The tour was very well done = good content and sites, good hotels and breakfasts, good leader, bus driver and local guides.

Loved this tour, fast paced but not too much, really well structured so you felt you saw all of the must sees in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Highlights have to be the Fjords and ABBA Museum. Used good hotels, all comfortable, great breakfasts and close to good public transport. Did most of the optionals and would really recommend them, they were usually far cheaper than doing it yourself. First tour with Expat, they offer really good value and we will be using them again

First and foremost, I rarely give out five star reviews for anything. Our amazing driver and tour leader are what pushed my rating to all five stars. Darius and Paulo went out of their way to make sure the experience was as good as possible for each person on the tour. Darius was well organized, flexible, knowledgeable, and most of all a great guy that you can ask any questions and have a beer with! Paulo was an incredible and went above and beyond his duties as a driver, communicating with us each day and making sure that everyone was having a great time, as well as sharing stories and giving advice. Both of these awesome guys truly enjoyed helping their tour, acting like big brothers to us all. I knew this trip was going to be amazing, but Darius and Paulo made it truly special for my friend and I. I genuinely wish I had more money left over to tip these two, they are stars in your company! The amount of time we had in each of our locations was pretty solidly thought out. Also, I feel as though there was solid communication as far as how long each bus ride would take and what stops we would be making. I have a hard time thinking of highlights in terms of location, but Copenhagen was amazing with public transport. Bergen and the Fjords are a breathtaking experience. Stockholm and the amount of history to see were an amazing addition as well. Scandinavia is a tour that should have more tours in it! Altogether, an amazing and life changing experience on my part. I will be keeping Expat Explore in my mind for all my future tours!

Loved this tour! Sights were breathtakingly beautiful. Our accommodations were clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts provided were really good with do much variety. Our tour leader Luke was fun, energetic, extremely thoughtful to all passengers. His knowledge of the area was abundant. Our group experience and dynamics was inspired by the environment that Luke and our bus driver Brian created. Fun! Fun! Fun! Brian drove our coach flawlessly through challenging roads and we were always comfortable in his capabilities. Would love to travel with these two again in the future. All in all, we made friendships and had experiences we will keep for a lifetime. Thank you, Expat!

I am very happy of my first experience with Expat. Our tour leader , Luke, was not only friendly but also full of enthusiasm, always smiling, caring and helpful, very professional. I have really appreciated his communication and organization skills and the positive energy brought to the group.

We had the best time on the Scandinavian tour. We met some really nice people from all over the globe and had a wonderful time together. Our tour guide Luke was the best. He has the nicest personality, made us laugh and full of knowledge. Our tour guide Brian wax the best as well and got us to all our destinations safely. The two made a great team and gave us the best experience.

Lovely places to visit. Learning about history. Getting together with lovely people. Great optional tours. Good organisation with accomodations.

The tour was full of awesome sceneries , unforgettable experiences especially on the cruise ship to Bergen. Delighted to gain new friends from different parts of the world. Interaction with them gave me the energy needed to complete the itineraries each day.
