Highlights

Hoi An: Climb onto a Vespa and eat your way through Hoi An after dark, when the town is all lanterns, lively streets, and serious flavour. You'll try local street eats as you weave through the evening buzz, one delicious stop at a time.

Hoi An: Hop on the back of a Vespa and cruise through Hoi An’s countryside, where rice paddies, artisan villages, and quiet roads set the scene. It’s breezy, local, and the perfect first taste of life beyond the old town

Hoi An: Roll up your sleeves and jump into a hands-on cooking class with a local chef. You’ll learn the tricks, taste as you go, and sit down to enjoy the flavours you helped create.

Da Nang: Swap city streets for sandy toes with some laid-back beach time in Da Nang. Swim, chill, or do absolutely nothing — this one’s all about slowing the pace.

Da Nang: Ride out toward Son Tra Mountain and watch the city give way to jungle roads and sweeping ocean views. Fresh air, scenic stops, and a totally different side of Da Nang.

Da Nang: Dive into Da Nang’s food scene. Expect local favourites, buzzing streets, and tasting your way through the city like the locals do.

Da Nang: Spend the day riding the iconic Hải Vân Pass, winding through mountain roads and along the coastline with constant scenic views. Along the way, we’ll stop at freshwater springs for a swim, take nature breaks, and refuel with a laid-back BBQ-style lunch before continuing the journey.

Itinerary

Vietnam from the back of a Vespa and a motorbike? Oh yes. Over 6 days, you’ll ride through lantern-lit towns, coastal roads, mountain passes and imperial cities, mixing iconic routes with everyday local life. Expect countryside cruising, hands-on cooking, beach breaks and street food stops that go way beyond the obvious — think standout local spots, big flavours and off-the-beaten-path eats you’d never find on your own. And of course, there’s the legendary Hai Van Pass.

day 1Hoi An

Hello and welcome to Vietnam! Settle into our charming boutique stay in Hi An, complete with rice paddy views and a pool thats got your name on it. Then tonight, we'll hit the streets on Vespas (for our very first ride!) and for a street food tour, stopping by a few local spots to eat like we mean it.

Guillia put a great self-drive tour together for us and Susana looked after us as we travelled. (Even when we got lost) The car and accommodation was good and the guides patient and informative. Only issue we had was parking in small villages, garages, and cities. Apart from the parking we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, thank you.
