Coach - comfortable and spacious Hotel - sub par location in Nashville , Memphis and Natchez - too far from the city centre which meant additional cost / expenditure to get around. Wifi services unreliable, outdated bathrooms ( water pressure in 2 of the 4 hotels were atrocious ) Itinerary - we had too much free time for the cost of the tour , would have preferred a sight seeing event every day , with at least one meal included.
The itinerary was great and the tour guide was excellent however two of the 4 hotels were below average and didn’t come close to the other two on the holiday. The crown plaza in Memphis was ok but was situated near a homeless persons refuge/center that meant we felt unsafe walking from the hotel to the main attractions after dark in the evening. The hotel in New Orleans (la Quinta Hotel)was very poor indeed they never supplied clean towels each day, the shower leaked constantly and the water pressure on the sink was just a dribble coupled with very unclean and dusty rooms it was not a nice experience.
Driver and guide excellent at their jobs Too much free time.
Good length of trip but needs more time at certain points
Itinerary was good, however going back to the hotels, particular the one in Nashville was not in the centre as I had expected.
quality sightseeing stops ample free time to explore good range of optional tours reasonable price range professional drivers and tour guides
itinerary excellent , hotels not good
I was pleased to get a chance to visit Nashville, Memphis and New Orleans. I was able to do all the highlights in each city and get an overall view of the downtown. It is a great way to do everything is a short amount of time.
Find out who is the tour guide first and make sure is not guiding and keep your daughters at home Also communication on the last day of the tour would be appreciated if u are keeping us on the bus to tour till late on last destination and ask us if we would like to stay on the bus. Most of us didn’t know we would be on the bus for that long and we would have liked the option to stay on or wait at hotel. We were all tired and did not want to be forced to stay on a tour of cemetery in the heat when we could have had options.
Itinerary was very good, plenty to see and learn about. Would have liked to go to bar or other hotel to have Line Dancing or country music at night.
You will have a lot of fun. but it is a road trip so be prepared to spend quite a lot of time in a coach, as well as booking in and out of hotels.
Costsaver scores a 10 out of 10 in relation to hotels staff tours. Tours were varied and catered for everyones needs and wants.
