Edinburgh - Loch Lomond - Oban. Our Highland journey begins with a scenic drive through the rolling landscapes of Perthshire and into Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. We pause in the village of Killin at the Falls of Dochart - a picture-perfect setting where rushing water cascades beneath the stone bridge, capturing the character of rural Scotland.
At the Falls of Dochart Smokehouse, we enjoy a taste of authentic Scottish produce. From locally sourced cheddar to whisky-smoked salmon, the focus here is on traditional slow food prepared with care and local provenance.
Continuing west, we arrive in Oban, widely known as the seafood capital of Scotland. We visit the historic Oban Distillery - one of Scotland’s oldest working distilleries - where the influence of the sea air shapes the character of every cask. Later, you may wish to enjoy fresh shellfish along the harbourfront or join a lively evening ceilidh, a traditional gathering filled with Highland music and dancing.
