Ireland’s enchanting landscapes and legendary hospitality await on the Irish Highlights tour, a 7-day guided adventure looping from Dublin through Waterford, Limerick, and Killarney. Designed for experienced travelers, this trip blends iconic sights—like the crystal artistry of Waterford and the dramatic Cliffs of Moher—with cultural gems such as Blarney Castle and the famed Ring of Kerry. Learn about Ireland’s poignant history, including the devastating famine, and discover the 'gift of the gab.' The unique advantage of this tour is its well-rounded approach, ensuring you experience both the must-see highlights and the deep-rooted traditions that make Ireland truly unforgettable.
This was an amazing trip for my husband and our two daughters in their early 20’s. It’s nice because of no headache with making decisions, everything is done for you.
Fast paced but got to experience a lot. Fraces our tour guide was excellent as was our coach driver.
The tour Irish Highlights was excellent. I wish the tour lasted a week longer. Neil and Stevie were the best. Schedules, timing and interesting places to see and do were fantastic. Neil provided information to prepare us for places we were to visit and was very knowledgeable. The coach was perfectly clean. Optional tours were fantastic. The tour guide went out of his way to facilitate us having alit of fun and help us if needed, re food choice, answering questions, joining in sing a longs etc. The accommodations were good locationsThe only thing that bothered me was that there was a large group of people who constantly used the bus wc before and after every stop instead of using restrooms off the bus. It seemed that they were constantly up and down the aisle. I believe the two Trafalgar tours I have done were equally excellent, the guides and drivers were excellent and I will do another Trafalgar tour. I highly recommend Trafalgar.
Love the trip, saw a lot in a few days.
It’s all about the synergy between the Travel Director and Coach driver. However you can drop/bypass the “Old Punch Bowl” in Dublin on the first day. The meal was rushed and not the best, and seating was extremely cramped. Like really cramped. Additionally my wife’s 1st glass of wine came out of a bottle (good wine ) but her 2nd glass was delivered in a new glass but was junk (suspect poor quality ). Not sure Trafalgar is getting their monies worth from that particular site. Seriously find another venue other than the Old Punch Bowl - it’s over rated.
Fun trip that hit most of the highlights
You had plenty of time to walk around on your own. The stop in between were beautiful views
The initial dinner at the Punchbowl was less than I expected and I felt very rushed to eat and get out. What should be a time to meet and greet new fellow travelers, was an assembly line dinner. On the other hand the last dinner at the family home of the country Irish cook, was warm and welcoming. She did a great job of cooking, serving and conversing politely with the guests!
Best trip. So many delightful historical things to see. Never a boring time. All the sights were all varied to please any person. Love the scenery, the food, the people, the music. I cannot say 1 bad thing. Even the rain made me feel I had seen all of what Ireland is. Will definitely return. P. Hamilton
I really enjoyed this experience with our tour guide Sally and bus driver, Michael. We were shown some amazing sights in Ireland and enjoyed some wonderful entertainment in an Irish style. The scenery was spectacular. I would thoroughly recommend this itinerary to anyone who would like to enjoy what Ireland has to offer.
This itinerary had a nice mix of seeing irelands countryside, seeing tourist destinations, a touch of local sites, and free time to explore on our own.Tamara was kind and knowledgeable. We were impressed with Stevie’s driving and knew he would keep us safe. I also appreciate their daily planning to get us to crowded sites before it became crowded. Our only negative on the trip was our flight booked by Trafalgar was cancelled by Aer Lingus. Trafalgar was unable to help us with changing our flights. We booked a new flight ourselves and arrived in time for the bus tour to start but we missed our tour of Dublin and we paid for a hotel room we never were in.
Our Tour guide and driver were outstanding
It's a jam-packed tour. Very interesting and informative about the site we were visiting. Saw places that I have never seen before. Enjoyed the food, but I have Celiac Disease, so I couldn't eat of the bread.
We totally loved our tour; the driver and tour Director were well above of any expectations we expected. They were aursome and a must for your company. Every venue we visited was excellent. Only one thing could you please include a dungeon within the tour, Thanks Greg and Jana Whittaker
Great trip the best tour guide and bus driver!
The trip was great. Was nice to have everything planned, just sit back and relax. From the wonderful hotels to all the different sites and adventures
So much! We saw so many places and had the best tour guide, *personal info removed by Feefo* and best coach driver, *personal info removed by Feefo* We believe we saw much more with Trafalgar than if we done the trip on our own. We would highly recommend this trip.
The itinerary was great, we went to places where the locals were, I like that. our tour person was excellent, she told us about the history of Ireland and played songs for us on the bus. She was a wealth of information about Ireland's history and I enjoyed the information. The small pubs and different places to eat were great fun.
