Dublin - Rock of Cashel - Cork - Blarney Castle - Kinsale. You'll join the tour in Dublin before we leave the Irish castle, heading south. Is it a Chapel? Is it a Palace? Is it a Cathedral? The 1,000-year-old Rock of Cashel, our first stop, is all three, offering an awe-inspiring and historic start to the tour. Next, we head to Cork, famously known as the "Rebel County," a term originating from its support of a rebellion against Henry VII in 1491. The rebel spirit persists, with locals often asserting it as the true capital, much to Dublin's annoyance.
Our journey continues with a visit to Blarney Castle, home to the famous Blarney Stone, where legend claims that kissing it will endow you with "the gift of the gab", the ability to speak confidently and persuasively.
The evening is reserved for exploring historic Kinsale. Our guide will lead us through its charming streets, rich in maritime history, silversmiths, galleries, and antique shops. Then, we dine at one of the many award-winning fish restaurants (not included), where you can choose between red snapper and John Dory as your catch of the day. Finally, enjoy a lively evening at The Spaniard or The Silent Banjo, both abuzz with music and local patrons.
Total driving time: 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Meeting Point: The Ashling Hotel Dublin, 10 - 13 Parkgate St, Stoneybatter, Dublin 8, D08 P38N at 08:00.
Kinsale - Killarney National Park - Dingle. We bid farewell to Kinsale and set out for Killarney National Park. Along this scenic drive, we'll encounter stunning vistas, including spots like Ladies' View and Moll's Gap. Upon reaching Killarney National Park, we rent a bike for a two-hour ride to explore its beautiful surroundings. Visit Muckross House and Gardens, Torc Waterfall, and Ross Castle.
We continue to the picturesque coastal town of Dingle, where we'll spend the night. Take some time to explore its quirky pubs and enjoy delicious local cuisine. Listen to a traditional music session or relish a perfect pint of Guinness.
Total driving time: 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Start the day with an exhilarating kayak trip around Dingle Bay, where we can explore nearby caves and might even encounter some marine life. If you prefer to stay on land, a self-guided e-bike tour around the Dingle Peninsula is also available.
Afterwards, we embark on a drive along Slea Head Drive, passing through Irish-speaking villages and famous film locations, with opportunities to see Skellig Michael up close and perhaps catch a glimpse of a Jedi (some of Star Wars: The Last Jedi was filmed here). We'll then return to Dingle for another night, with a hint of fun at the local hardware store (which doubles as a pub!).
Total driving time: 2 hours.
Dingle - Cliffs of Moher - Doolin. Our adventure continues as we head north, leaving behind Dingle and taking in the stunning scenery of Castlegregory en route. Experience a captivating sheepdog show by a local farmer, where the incredible skill and teamwork between border collies and their handlers are on full display.
Later, we cross the River Shannon by ferry to reach County Clare, home to the legendary Cliffs of Moher. Set out on a two-and-a-half-hour hike along the cliffs, taking in their dramatic coastline and breathing in the fresh sea air. Our guide will lead you off the beaten track, uncovering hidden gems away from the crowds. The cliffs are steeped in myth and wonder; listen for the roar of the Wild Atlantic Ocean, which might seem to echo your name in its waves.
Our destination for the night is the charming village of Doolin, known for its colourful houses and lively atmosphere. Head out to enjoy the village's lively music scene this evening. Note that on some departures we may stay in the coastal spot of Spanish Point instead.
Total driving time: 3 hours 30 minutes.

Galway, known for its festivals and culture, was honoured as the European Capital of Culture in 2020. This medieval city is filled with ancient buildings now serving as vibrant restaurants, lively bars, and charming craft shops. Brightly painted pubs resonate with live music, while cafés provide a perfect spot to enjoy street performers, musicians, and local personalities. After unveiling Galway's hidden treasures, enjoy a leisurely afternoon to browse its various shops, savour delicious cuisine, and partake in the city's dynamic entertainment scene.

Galway - The Aran Islands - Connemara National Park - Westport. We start today by travelling along the coastal road to Rossaveel pier, where we'll catch a ferry to the renowned Aran Islands. Once here, we discover the breathtaking landscapes and engage with the welcoming locals, who might teach you a few Gaelic phrases. Bike along the island’s rugged coastline towards Dún Aonghasa, a stone fort in ruins, situated 100 metres above the ocean on a clifftop.
Heading back to the mainland, we venture into Connemara National Park before completing our day in Westport, a cherished Irish town. It serves as an excellent base for exploring Killary Harbour, Ireland's only natural fjord, along with other local treasures. Relax in Westport with a local craft beer and some delicious food. A visit to Westport wouldn't be complete without stopping by Matt Molloy's bar to enjoy a traditional Irish music session and legendary craic.

Total driving time: 2 hours.
Westport - Dublin. We depart Westport to embark on the "pilgrim climb" up Croagh Patrick, also known as "The Reek" and regarded as Ireland's sacred mountain. While it is believed that St. Patrick fasted at the summit in 441 AD, the site has been a place of pagan worship since 3000 BC. Accompanied by our guide, we'll undertake a two-hour ascent, climbing 764 metres over loose, rocky scree toward the clouds. Your efforts will be rewarded with a 360-degree view of Clew Bay, featuring its 365 islands and sunken drumlins. After a one-and-a-half-hour descent, we'll gain insights into St. Patrick - his life, sainthood, connection to the mountain, and the origins of the celebrations held every March 17th.
We then complete our journey back to Dublin, where the tour comes to an end.
