Highlights
Oxford: See the spires and colleges of this world-famous university town.
Cotswolds: This breathtaking area is about as quintessentially British as it gets. Honey-colored stone houses line the winding streets of the area’s most beautiful towns and villages, while rapeseed fields decorate this colorful part of the UK in splashes of gold. See the pretty market town of Stow-on-the-Wold, before heading to the historic city of Bath, with its Roman and Georgian architecture.
Bath: During an orientation you will see the Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey.
Bath: Visit the Roman Baths, one of the best-preserved ancient bathhouses in Northern Europe whose waters still flow today. Enjoy a personal exploration of the site, including the Sacred Spring, original Great Bath, temple remains and museum displays of artifacts uncovered on site. This complex offers a clear view of public bathing and religious practices during the Roman occupation of Britain nearly 2,000 years ago.
Cardiff: During an orientation with your Travel Director, see the castle and Principality Stadium.
Glastonbury: Visit the historic Glastonbury Abbey. Founded in the 7th century, its ruins are now registered as a Grade I listed building.
Plymouth: During an orientation tour with your Travel Director, see Plymouth Hoe and the Citadel before continuing to the Barbican and Mayflower Steps. Afterward, explore a quaint Cornish fishing village.
Looe: Journey to this quaint coastal town. A holiday hotspot in the Victorian era, explore its stores or working harbor at leisure.
Stonehenge: Walk around the strange, awe-inspiring megaliths that have reputedly stood for 5,000 years.
Salisbury: Explore one of England’s finest medieval cathedrals, famed for its soaring 123 m (404 ft) spire and graceful Gothic architecture. Inside the Chapter House, view the best-preserved of the four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta, a landmark document in the history of liberty and law.

Customer Reviews
Scenery and villages were lovely. Well balanced between driving and sightseeing. Hotels ranged from very good and good but the The Royal & Fortescue in Barnstaple (where we had two nights) left a LOT to be desired and was definitely not the standard we had paid for on this premium tour. Insight let us down, despite their “BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE Premium Vacations With Everything You Need, Always Included” assertion, as our first night in London was NOT included. It was impossible to know where to book accommodation so that we would make a timely, easy and not-too-expensive trip across London to whatever hotel Insight decided the tour would depart from. The most we knew (until less then a week before the tour start date) was that the "departure on Day 1 can be between 6am -9am" and thatwe needed to be at THE HOTEL a minimum of 30 mins early. I stress that THE HOTEL was not advised until almost last-minute! AND we were, a few weeks before, advised that it would most likely be Thistle by Marble Arch only to be told days before that is was the Cleremont Hotel. This was an extremely poor way to start a tour and we felt very poorly treated considering all our previous Insight tours included the first night in the package. We found out during the tour that people from other countries knew the departure hotel was Cleremont months before us Australians were advised. Also, this 6-9 am departure meant that there weres no introductions of the Tour Guide nor our co-travellers before we bundled onto the coach, spent day one touring and then had our meet-each-other dinner that night. This, of course, we state is solely the (ir)responsibility of Insight and in no way a criticism of our fantastic Tour Director.
