Las Vegas: A true must-see. Live “Viva Las Vegas” from the sky as you hop on the High Roller, North America's tallest observation wheel standing 550 feet tall. The 30-minute ride offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the glittering lights and neon signs of the Strip below.
Death Valley: You’ll truly feel the solitude and vastness of Death Valley today as you head out on a guided tour of the park’s most famous sites. You’ll discover the unique geological features of Death Valley, a land of sand dunes and volcanic craters, intriguing weather-patterns, and the highest-recorded temperatures in the United States.
Mammoth Lakes: Ascend Mammoth Mountain by gondola and enjoy the stunning views over a tasty breakfast.
Yosemite National Park: Meet a climber and naturalist that will delve into the dynamic history of climbing in Yosemite. This MAKE TRAVEL MATTER Experience targets United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land, improving, protecting, and conserving wildlife and/or restores natural ecosystems.

This is a great trip! We got a nice survey of some amazing places, such as Yosemite and Sequoia, plus several stops in between. Accommodations and food were excellent. Our guide, was wonderful - very knowledgeable, patient, creative, dedicated to the task. We would definitely recommend this tour to others and would be interested in Trafalgar tours to other destinations.
Tour director was excellent ( )
We were not able to visit Death Valley due to heat which is understandable however there should be a second option. We stopped at an internment camp at 104 degree?? Too hot for Death Valley but not to walk around an internment camp. Also we only were given one morning in Sequoia National Park and then in the afternoon were told shuttles don’t run during the week. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Our director worked with our driver and we were driven into the park for 2 extra hours in the afternoon, but I felt we really had to “complain” to get this extra time in the Park and we had to either hike or take shuttles to the campground at 4:00 or have to hike 4 miles back to the resort. I have taken tours with Caravans, Globus and now Trafalgar. I would rate Trafalgar in LAST place. The saving grace was our tour director and driver who were AMAZING!
Enjoyed every destination on our trip. Was disappointed in the cancellation of drive through Death Valley National Park, but understood caution needed for the high temperatures in the park.
Excellent trip into Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks. The subject matter experts were excellent discussing climbing, fire management, and star gazing. Incredible experience and travel director was outstanding-Manuel..
It’s a great way to experience and learn about California’s National Parks. I had traveled to Yosemite on my own, but with Trafalgar I saw some hidden gems and received information that I never would have known. I enjoyed this trip so much more than when I went on my own. We had special guests at several of our stops that gave us their personal stories that made it more realistic. The days are full, and I enjoyed being able to take some hikes in the Parks, and it was so nice to see how our guide took care of the travelers that chose not to do hikes. If you love our National Parks, and want more information than you can imagine, take this tour.
Great lineup of fabulous parks. Easy flying to and from LV and LA. Disappointed that we had to bypass Death Valley due to high temperatures. Would like to have seen on itinerary in advance of that possibility.
Excellent itinerary carried out by knowledgeable and customer oriented TD and coach driver. and were such an efficient team and each one of the team added something special to the sometimes unavoidable long bus rides. They were able to maneuver the busy national park sites with ease and lots of information. The special unexpected stops were so rewarding. With a team such as this it is a real witness as to why you travel with Trafalgar vs "doing the driving yourself". The trip was seamless due to the behind the scenes planning and reevaluating as need be. The sites were awe inspiring and the extra added outside experts really made the itinerary even more inspiring. Thanks to and for their professionalism and the way they cared for their "Trafalgar family". Can't forget playlists and morning starts either. Would love to travel with them again.
Wonderful time on tour, , well organized, great tour director.
Great itinerary for a one week trip! Checked off our bucket list Yosemite visit! Terrific tour guide and bus driver. Love the big red bus!
We loved the trip, but it seemed there was a lot of down time when there wasn't much around to do. Our tour director, was absolutely wonderful and tried to fill in as much as he could! We felt very safe with our bus driver. We certainly will plan another trip with Trafalgar and have told many of our friends about this company!
The schedule of the trip was super. Just enough time to get a taste of of all stopovers to know if you would really like to go back and would do it all over again.
Fabulous trip. Pictures cannot convey these places- they must be seen first hand.
