day 1 - Kilimanjaro International Airport - Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet our representative. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Attend a short safari-briefing session with the representative at the hotel. Have dinner and stay overnight in Arusha.

day 2 - Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

After you have had your breakfast, carry your picnic lunch and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. It takes more than 2 hours to drive to the national park's main gate from your accommodation.

Lake Manyara is one of the most popular destinations for bird-watchers in the world. Over 400 species of birds have been documented in the park. As well as birds, the national park is also famous for its elusive tree-climbing lions. Have dinner and stay overnight Tloma Lodge or any other similar luxury accommodation.

day 3 - Lake Manyara - Serengeti National Park

Drive for 4 to 5 hours after breakfast from your hotel to Serengeti National Park. Travel through the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which includes the Ngorongoro Crater. You also have the option to visit the Olduvai Gorge along the way.

Serengeti is Tanzania’s largest national park and top safari destination. However its claim to fame also lies in an annual spectacle in the animal kingdom that takes place in the national park: the annual wildebeest migration. This event sees more than a million wildebeests moving from one part of the national park to the other.

The endless plains of the park cover some 14,763 square kilometers and include large plains, short-grass plains, kopjes and lakes. Enjoy some game viewing en route. Have your dinner and stay overnight Serengeti Sopa Lodge or similar.

day 4 - Serengeti game drive

Go out on a day-long safari in Serengeti. Return to your accommodation in the evening. Have dinner and stay overnight in Serengeti Sopa Lodge or something similar.

day 5 - Serengeti - the Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early in the morning (at 6:00 am) and enjoy a game drive in Serengeti National Park. Return to your camp for breakfast at 9:30 am. Head for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area once you are done with your breakfast.

Ngorongoro is the largest intact crater in the world and is teeming with wildlife including elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, lions, leopards and hyenas. See wildlife throughout the day and drive to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (or similar) in the evening.

day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater floor

Enjoy an early-morning breakfast, carry your picnic lunch and travel to the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. Drive uphill from the crater floor late in the afternoon or early in the evening and head for your accommodation at Ngorongoro Farm House (or similar) for dinner and overnight stay.

day 7 - Ngorongoro - Lake Natron

Drive through dusty roads to reach Lake Natron after breakfast. Soak up the beauty of the lake and explore its surrounding areas. See the Ngarasero Escarpment, waterfalls and Oldonyo Lengai Mountain. Enjoy the view of flamingoes in the lake.

You also have the option of going out on a hike to the surrounding areas, which we can arrange upon request. Stay overnight at Lake Natron Tented Camp.

day 8 - Lake Natron - Lake Eyasi

Explore Natron Lake after breakfast. Drive to Lake Eyasi, home to the Hadzabe people, a reclusive tribe of bushmen who still live as they did 10,000 years ago. These bushmen are widely considered to be among the last hunter-gatherers in Africa.

Listen to their clicking language and see their hunting techniques at work. Learn more about the tribe and their ways of living. Spend your night at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge or another similar-category accommodation.

day 9 - Lake Eyasi - Tarangire Park

Go hunting and gathering with the Hadzabe bushmen after you are done with your breakfast. Enjoy your picnic lunch in the afternoon, while driving to Tarangire National Park. Do some game viewing en route to your accommodation in Tarangire. Stay at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge or similar.

day 10 - Tarangire - Arusha - Kilimanjaro Airport

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Tarangire, the third largest national park in Tanzania that is known for its large herds of elephants and other herbivores. The park is also famous for its large, sprawling baobab trees.

See the animals in the national park, ranging from carnivores to zebras, elephants, giraffes, and waterbucks, as they gather around the Tarangire River, the lifeblood of the national park .

Drive back to Arusha after you are done seeing animals. Depending upon your schedule, you might want to prepare for your departure or extend your stay in Tanzania now.
