Loved the hotel choices (except for crawfords. Wonderful concept, excellent location but 3* quality) & the optionals were of good quality. First rate overall!
Although some of the bus rides between attractions can be lengthy, they are well worth it. Our tour guide was the best we've had on any tour, giving us details about all aspects of the areas we passed through, including the culture, geography, economy, and nature of each region. From the animals in Kruger National Park to Table Mountain in Cape Town to beaches and beautiful hotels, this was one of our best trips ever.
This trip exceeded our expectations! our guide was the most professional, friendly, organised , caring ,informative lovely man . the Driver was fantastic also . The accommodation was comfortable, clean and luxurious and each new place was a wonderful surprise for us . The daily activities were all amazing and we loved every one of them . The food was very good also . Doing this tour with Trafalgar was the best way to see such a diverse South Africa and we felt safe at all times
The best of South Africa is exactly that. The land is vast , the safari to see wild animals was great, there were surprises with each scenic photo opportunity and the itinerary covered so much history ,diversity and beauty. and were great ambassadors and so helpful. Great team. I enjoyed anything to do with animals including the Big 5, Penguins, Whales, Baboons, Hippos. The hotels were fantastic , in great locations, safe, high quality.
Our 15-day journey through South Africa was nothing short of extraordinary, every day brought a new and unforgettable experience. The diversity of landscapes, cultures, and wildlife exceeded my expectations. Highlights included watching the sunrise on my birthday at KrugerNationalPark and witnessing the Big Five on multiple game drives. Each destination offered something unique—whether it was the coastal charm of Knysna or the dramatic views along the Panorama Route. What truly made the trip special was the warmth and hospitality of the South African people. Our guides were knowledgeable and passionate, adding so much value with their insights into the country's history, wildlife, and local traditions.
