My Best of Ireland trip in Aug/Sept. 2025 was the trip of my lifetime! I had a wonderful time traveling with my friend to see all of Ireland's best in 10 days. was our tour guide. was our driver. All of the hotels and meals were wonderful. The communication between and the group was very clear as she sent emails every day preparing us for the following day's schedule. We signed up for all of the extra events. They were all worth it. Ireland is the most beautiful, green, ancient place I've ever seen. Key moments were the jaunty cart ride with through Killarney National Park. He put me in the front with hand made jokes the had us all laughing despite the light rain on our covered carriage. I also love the shepherd demonstration at Glenkeen Farm, where we witnessed the calls and whistles for the border collie herding sheep and heard lovely music at lunch. Kylemore Abbey was unforgettably serene and beautiful. A must see. I was overjoyed to visit the Shrine of Knock and a holy well. We stayed one night in a haunted hotel, the Clayton Hotel in Sligo, which used to be a mental asylum! It was beautiful, built in the 1800s, but I had a ghost visit me in Room 4105. I was awakened with full goosebumps and felt and heard scratching on my sheets! I scratched back and the ghost scratched again and poked me in the arm! I called out for Jesus and it stopped. No one else had a ghostly visit. The group was a lovely bunch of fun, kind people from the US, Australia and Canada. We danced and laughed and had a wonderful time together. I will never forget the beautiful, kind, polite, and joyful people of Ireland I met every day. In my spare time in Dublin I visited the National Museum of Archaeology and the National Gallery of Art. Highly recommended. I also arrived two days early and did a wonderful day tour of Newgrange, Knowth, and the Hill of Tara with . Highly recommended if you're in Dublin extra days.
The flight schedule made the trip very nice, transportation to and from the hotels was fantastic. Our tour guide *personal info removed by Feefo* was AMAZING in all aspects of the tour. His attention to EVERYONE'S needs was fantastic. I'm sure that his support team was a big part of that but, his knowledge of the country and interests in what visitors are interested in. People all over the country treated him as family as we arrived at beautiful out of the way places. Dinners in different settings was a joy. It would be difficult to mention how anything could have been better.
Our Best of Ireland tour was wonderful! The tour experience and Ireland itself exceeded our expectations. Our Travel Director, and Tour Driver, were the BEST team! They were personable and professional - their knowledge and expertise were top notch and made our trip that more amazing. The Irish people were warm, friendly and their love of Ireland shown bright.
This trip was very well planned, organized and executed. was the tour director and he was amazing. He kept us prepared, informed, and thoroughly entertained continuously. We all experienced as much of Ireland as we could possibly absorb and retain. We saw the beauty, the culture, the history and mostly the beautiful people of Ireland up close! I recommend this trip to anyone wanting to see Ireland up close.
Fabulous trip! It actually was booked by Brendan Tours through Trafalgar. Our Tour Director was . He was absolutely wonderful! Took care of every detail. Even brought us to several stops along the way not on the tour but through his own contacts and they were best of all as it brought us in contact with everyday Irish people sharing their personal stories. If you are booking a bus tour, be sure the tour includes your bags being brought to your room each stop ( like this one). Saw other tours at hotels and miserable people shlepping their own bags. We saw everything on this tour. Fabulous time! Highly recommend this tour.
