Itinerary
Start and end in Johannesburg, the tour "4-day Kruger Wildlife Adventure Accommodated" is a guided wildlife tour that takes 4 days. You will travel through Johannesburg and Kruger National Park in South Africa. "4-day Kruger Wildlife Adventure Accommodated" is a small group tour which includes accommodation in hotels, transport, meals and others.
day 1 - Johannesburg Kruger national Park
Departing the city, we travel via Middelburg and Nelspruit to the famed Kruger National Park, one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the world at 19 485 sq km it is roughly the size of Israel or Wales. The area is incredibly diverse in both fauna and flora - from the dwarf mongoose to the famed Big Five, prolific birdlife and over 330 varieties of trees. With our Eagle-eyed guide at the wheel, we make our way to our camp situated on the banks of the Sabie River where we will enjoy dinner under the African stars.
day 2 - Kruger National Park
Rising early, we set off in our vehicle in search of the Big 5, and other amazing wildlife over 505 species of birds, 148 species of mammals and many reptiles that inhabit the park during the morning and late afternoon - pausing in the midday heat at a rest camps along the way. There are many facilities available for game viewers such as restaurants, souvenir stores and swimming pools. For those wanting more game driving there may be the option of heading out on a night safari.
day 3 - Kruger National Park Panoramic Route
After our last game drive, we exit the park and enjoy scenic mountain passes with stunning views of the Drakensberg escarpment. Along the way, we visit many of the wonderful sites of the area The Pinnacle, Gods Window, Lisbon Falls, Bourkes Luck Potholes and the Blyde River Canyon. After marvelling at the breath-taking views, we make our way to our quaint country accommodation in the picturesque Sabie River Valley of the Mpumalanga Drakensberg.
day 4 - Panoramic Route Johannesburg
After breakfast, we visit the Lone Creek Falls, a beautiful waterfall in the forest area in the Mpumalanga area, plummeting 70m in the creek below and Pilgrims Rest, a small museum town. We meander down the main street to soak up the rich history of the area - dating back to the discovery of gold fields in 1873, before continuing to Johannesburg where we end our tour.
