Sightseeing today includes exploring Vietnam’s charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas, Hanoi is a sight to behold. Visit the key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house), the Presidential Palace, the nearby One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, West Lake including the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple and one of the city’s museums (a choice between the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum). End the day’s explorations with a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter or enjoy a traditional water puppet show.
Our guide and a shuttle bus will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel and start the journey east to Halong Bay, through picturesque rice-farming villages of the Red River Delta, where you can catch a glimpse of every day Vietnamese village life.
On arrival, board a beautiful traditional junk and spend a full day and night cruising the bay’s 3000 magnificent limestone islets. In the evening when the boat is anchored in the middle of the stunning lagoon, you can enjoy a wonderful seafood meal and later take the opportunity for an evening swim from the side of the boat. Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the Bay's towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Have brunch onboard the boat before returning to Halong pier to get back Hanoi for your flight to Da Nang.

Depart for My Son, 70 km south-west of Da Nang. My Son was the capital of the once almighty Champa kingdom and boasts a complex of ancient ruins dating back 1,700 years. This is the most complete example of ancient Champa ruins in Vietnam.
Transfer back to Hoi An and visit a lovely old house, still occupied by the descendants of the merchants who built it over 200 years ago, before seeing the elaborate Japanese Bridge, a Chinese temple and the bustling market.

Today is free for you to enjoy sightseeing in this ancient town filled with numerous interesting places. Explore art and handicraft galleries, try on clothes tailor-made, relax at the riverside restaurants or take the short journey to the nearby beach.

Enjoy leisure time until you are transferred to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival Ho Chi Minh, you will be welcomed by our tour guide/ driver and transferred to your hotel for check in.

Pick up from your hotel at 8 am. We will then depart for My Tho, where we will take a boat ride along the river. View the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river bank as we approach the My Tho fishing village – a floating fish farm. Proceed to Tortoise Island and have lunch in the orchard. Enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadow of the water coconut trees.
Next, we visit a family business that epitomises the idyllic rural lifestyle. Enjoy a row boat ride along the creeks. After trekking through the fruit plantation, return to the village. This full day of activity will conclude with a relaxing drive back to Ho Chi Minh and overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Breakfast at hotel, before taking a short sight-seeing trip. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office and the War Remnants Museum.
Then, enjoy a half-day excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km, from Saigon to the Cambodian border, and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today, the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction, giving you a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam War must have been like.

To avoid the big crowd, you will have early breakfast and start out at 7: 30 am to visit the picturesque Ta Prohm, a site that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings you'll remember forever.
Then continue to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat - one of the world’s most impressive ruins. The temple is home to fine Apsara carvings from the Angkorian era. Lunch at local restaurant (not included).
After lunch, continue exploring the mysterious Royal city Angkor Thom. City & Bayon Its 54-tower temple is an awesome sight. At first glance, it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals a face, and then another and another until suddenly you are engulfed by the silent, heavy, enigmatic and silent gaze through half-closed eyes, staring out from a primitive and remote time.
Further, visit the surroundings of the complex including the Baphou, Elephant Terraces, Lipper King Terrace and Royal Palace Enclosure area.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred by our local guide and private car to Krabei Riel Village where you can enjoy walking and a ride on the ox-cart. See the daily life and daily activities of the villagers.
At a short stop to one of the local houses, enjoy the fresh seasonal fruits and coconut juice, before we continue to visit Wat Damnak Pagoda, one of the most beautiful pagodas in town with French colonial architecture reflecting its history and a large garden filled with statues. Bring candles and incense sticks to the pagoda and participate in a private good luck blessing ceremony, performed by local monks that reside at the temple. Sit on the mat while the monks chant blessings and sprinkle holy water on you – a traditional way which is believed pass on the good luck of the gods. Afterwards, a sacred thread will be tied around your wrist. This will protect you from any evil spirits or accidents. Before you continue on your journey, you will receive a small keepsake from the monks to remind you of this special moment.
Then take free time to walk around the local market or enjoy the hotel amenities such as the swimming pool or spa.
The morning is at your leisure before heading to the airport for your flight onwards.
