day 1 - Hanoi Arrival

Arrive at Noi Bai international airport in Hanoi, Vietnam where you are warmly welcomed by our driver. Transfer to hotel.

day 2 - Hanoi City Tour full Day

Enjoy a full day city tour of Hanoi today. See the Mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh (closed on Monday & Friday), the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda & the Temple of Literature.

After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the impressive Museum of Ethnology, the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword and the Ngoc Son temple.

Also, on this tour try a 1-hour cyclo ride through the bustling Old Quarter streets of Hanoi and see a unique traditional water puppet show.

day 3 - Halong Bay Cruise

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for one of the most magnificent scenic destinations in the world, Halong Bay. Halong Bay covers 577 square miles filled with more than 3,000 limestone “peaks” or karsts that jut from the deep blue water as far as the eye can see.

Spend a day and a half, including an overnight with a dinner and a breakfast onboard, exploring this overwhelming seascape from the decks of a traditional Vietnamese boat. Your boat features hand-crafted wooden interiors including a dining room and pleasant air-conditioned cabins with private baths.

Since you get to stay an overnight on the cruise, you’ll be able to explore Ha Long Bay’s most beautiful spots with time to swim and even visit some of the largest rock formations and caves. This promises to be one of your most memorable travel experiences in Asia.

day 4 - Halong Bay to Hue

Wake up early in the morning for a great sunrise and enjoy fresh ocean air in combination with the sound of lapping bay waters. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay.

After a wonderful breakfast, explore Sung Sot cave, swim and relax, then get back to the jetty while brunch is served while you are cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations.

Later, check-out and drive to airport directly. Arrive Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) at 3:00 pm. Catch a flight to Hue City. Arrive Hue City, transfer to hotel for check-in.

day 5 - Free Time or Optional Excursion in Hue

Today you are free to discover Hue Imperial City by yourself. Hotel accommodation and breakfast included.

MORNING: Driver and tour guide pick up guests at the hotel at 07:30 am by private car to Huế.

Begin the day with Khai Dinh Tomb. It is the result of the interminglement of many architectural

trends: European and Asian, as well as ancient and modern. Then, go to visit Tu Duc Tomb - one

of the most beautiful works of royal architecture of the Nguyen dynasty. The tomb lies in a

boundless pine forest, 8 km from Hue. Stop on the way to visit The Conicat Hat & Incense

Making Village.

12:00 am: Have lunch.

AFTERNOON:

01:30 pm: Continue by car to visit The Citadel - a walled fortress and palace in the former capital

of Vietnam. The last place is Thien Mu pagoda, built in 1601 between a river and a pine forest.

This Heavenly Lady Pagoda in Hue is one of the oldest and prettiest religious buildings in the

country.

04:00 pm: Drop-off at hotel. End of tour.

day 6 - Danang, My Khe Beach, Hoi An

Today, journey south past the Hai Van Pass and Land Co, over a spur of the Truong Son mountain range that juts into the Southeast Sea, with spectacular views along the way. Upon arrival in Danang, visit the Cham Museum, which features a fine collection of open-air sandstone carvings.

Stop at My Khe Beach, made famous in the American TV series of the same name. It stretches for many miles north and south of the Marble Mountains. The Marble Mountains surrounding the area are five stone hillocks – once islands made of marble – and each is said to represent one of the five elements of the universe. There are many natural caves in which Buddhist sanctuaries have been built over the centuries.

day 7 - Hoi An full day tour

Enjoy a full-day excursion to Hoi An, a major trading centre, once known as “Faifo” to the earliest Western traders. It was also an important port for the Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and other merchant vessels from the Far East.

You first visit a temple with partially gilded statues in the center, a pagoda dedicated to sailors and fishermen and a chapel with origins in the 1700s that reflects the influences of Chinese and Japanese styles. Then you get to Sa Huynh Museum, located near the Japanese Covered Bridge, which contains exhibitions from the earliest period of Hoi An’s history.

In the late afternoon, you take a boat trip on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bing Village on Cam Kim Island to see the woodworkers and shipbuilding families. Then you return to your haven on world-famous “Cua Dai Beach,” with the evening at your leisure.

day 8 - Ho Chi Minh

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, the largest Vietnamese city. There are street markets, sidewalk cafes and sleek new bars. This teeming metropolis offers 300 years of timeless traditions and the beauty of an ancient culture.

To the west of the city is the huge Chinese neighbourhood called Colon, which means “Big Market.” Notre Dame Cathedral, in the heart of Saigon’s government quarter, is of neo-Romanesque architecture with two high square tower and iron spires. The Central Post Office is French-style and City Hall, known as “Hotel de Ville,” is typical of the French architecture that would be seen in any village in France.

Visit the War Remnants Museum, featuring collections of weapons and photographs from the two Indochina wars.

After breakfast, you start a day to remember by getting to My Tho, the capital of Tien Giang Province. Situated on the Mekong River, 75 kilometres southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, the city is surrounded by orchards and rice fields, which produce grain for the entire country.

You also visit one or two of the islands producing traditional handicrafts, coconut candy and bee farms before going to the Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in the delta on an amazing boat trip on the Mekong River.

You return to Ho Chi Minh City for the hotel check-in and stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

day 10 - Siem Reap, Cambodia

Breakfast at hotel then transfer to airport for flight to Siem Reap Cambodia. Arrive in Siem Reap at noon time. Be warmly welcomed at the airport then transfer to Siem Reap City.

Visit Angkor Complex:

The fortified city of Angkor Thom covers an area of 10 square km. Enclosed by a wall and wide moats, the city includes many of Angkor's most popular sights. Enter by the monumental south gate over a causeway lined on either side by statues of demons and gods, each carrying a giant naga.

Continue to the terrace of the elephants and the terrace of the leper kings, former spaces for public ceremonies, both adorned with dramatic bas reliefs. Visit the ruined Baphuon, royal enclosure and Phimeanakas before continuing to the mysterious Bayon temple. In this temple, one of the most popular and compelling in Angkor, explore the galleries of beautifully preserved bas-reliefs and ascend narrow stairs to reach the central sanctuary, where you will find giant stone faces smiling enigmatically down at you from every angle.

Watch the sunset over the Cambodian countryside from the upper terraces of an ancient Angkorian temple.

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Angkor Wat. The crowning jewel of Khmer architecture, Angkor Wat is the national symbol and the highlight of any visit to Cambodia.

The largest, best preserved, and most religiously significant of the Angkor temples, Angkor impresses visitors both by its sheer scale and beautifully proportioned layout, as well as the delicate artistry of its carvings. To approach the temple, first cross the vast moat, continuing along a broad causeway lined with naga balustrades.

As you enter the main building, ascend through a series of galleries and courtyard before reaching the central sanctuary, which offers beautiful views back over the causeway and across the surrounding countryside. On the way, stop to enjoy the intricate stone-carvings that adorn nearly every surface, with some 1,700 Apsaras, or celestial dancers, sculpted into the walls.

Along the outer gallery walls run the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which narrates stories from Hindu mythology, including the famous Churning of the Ocean of Milk. Angkor Wat is stunning at any time of the day, but sunrise and sunset are especially beautiful times to watch the play of light on the stones.

Visit Ta Prohm

Ta Prohm: one of the most popular attractions of Angkor as much of the jungle has not been cleared and it looks very much as most of the Angkor monuments would have appeared when European explorers first stumbled across them.

Visit Banteay Srei Temple

Seemingly miniature in comparison to the other Angkor temples, Banteay Srei is considered to be the jewel of classical Khmer art. Built in pink sandstone, the walls are covered in exquisitely preserved carvings of unusual delicacy.

Because of its small size, fairy-like atmosphere and extraordinary examples of Khmer sculpture, this temple is often a favorite with visitors.
