day 1 - Quito - Transfer from the airport to the hotel

Welcome to Ecuador!

Arrive at Quito's airport, reception, and transfer to the hotel in the Quito district. Check-in from 3pm. Overnight.

day 2 - Quito – Mitad del Mundo - Cable Car

Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up from the Hotel in Quito. The tour will then continue from the Basilica Church, where we will briefly stop to visit. After walking through the colonial streets, we will stop at the Independence Plaza to admire the Cathedral and the Government’s Palace. We will also visit La Ronda Street, the Company Church, Santo Domingo´s Church, the Sagrario´s Church, and San Francisco´s Church, all which were built

during the 17th century.

After visiting the historical sights, we will go to Teleferico. This is one of the best ways to enjoy our city with views of beautiful valleys, snow-capped

mountains and the capital, Quito. From a point of more than 13,000 feet (4000 m), you will enjoy magnificent views of the city.

After lunch, you will head to the Middle of the World monument, where you can stand right in the middle of the equatorial line and straddle the two hemispheres. Participate in several experiments at the Intiñan Museum, such as watching the water go down a drain in a different direction, balancing an egg on a nail, using an ancient sundial, and much more. You will also be able to visit a fascinating ethnographical museum that gives a great overview of the many distinct cultures of this small country.

Visit the amazing landscape in Pululahua inhabited crater just 5 minutes from the Equatorial line.

day 3 - Cotopaxi National Park

Breakfast at the hotel. The excursion starts at 8 am from your hotel in Quito. Meet your guide and board a vehicle heading south of Quito and towards Cotopaxi National Park. On the way, you will enjoy the beautiful views of the Andes Mountain range and gorgeous natural scenery.

Once you reach the National Park, you will visit the Interpretation Center and Limpiopungo lagoon. Take a short hike in the surrounding of Limpiopungo valley before driving ever-higher into this sky-high region, stopping at the 15,800-foot (4830-meter) Padre Rivas Refuge. Depending on your physical condition, you will get the Glacier (5050-meter)

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant that offers typical Ecuadorian meals.

day 4 - Quito – Baltra – Santa Cruz

Breakfast in the hotel. You will be picked up at the airport by your guide and move to the Itabaca Canal and cross on a ferry.

We will drive with the vehicle to the ranch "El Chato" in the highlands to see giant outdoor turtles. We will visit the Charles Darwin Station, which is primarily an international scientific research station located on the outskirts of Puerto Ayora. Let’s also visit the interpretation center to learn about the geology, climate, natural history, and conservation of the Galapagos Islands.

In the evening, you can choose from many restaurants near the pier for dinner on your own. Overnight in Santa Cruz.

day 5 - Santa Cruz – Full-day Navigable tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Depending on the dates and/or navigable site available, pick-up from the hotel will be early in the morning (6 or 7:00 am) to take you to the small vessel at the embarkation point in Puerto Ayora for a unique experience with Galapagos wildlife and endemic vegetation. The destination can be either Santa Fe, South Plazas, North Seymour, Pinzon, or Floreana. The activities will include hiking, snorkeling, swimming, and breathtaking sightseeing. After land and sea excursions, we will return to the hotel in Santa Cruz where you can relax and later have dinner at the restaurant specified by the guide. Overnight in Santa Cruz.

day 6 - Santa Cruz – Isabela

Early morning, you will take a small private plane for a short flight of 30 minutes from Baltra - Isabela. Upon arrival, our guide will transfer you to your hotel and you will have the rest of the morning free. If you want, you can walk to the nearby flamingo lagoon to spot these graceful birds or visit (entrance free) the tortoise breeding center.

In the afternoon, we will visit "Las Tintoreras," a chain of small islets full of the cove and hidden beaches. The islet of Tintoreras is situated in the south of Puerto Villamil and has a bay where you can see sea lions, marine turtles, iguanas, manta rays, etc. A superficial crack connects this bay with crystalline water which is closed off during low tide. In this crack, it is possible to see the sharks from Blanca Point swimming with the rest of the tropical fish and sea lions (snorkel). Overnight in Isabela.

day 7 - Isabela - Tuneles

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by boat to Cabo Rosa (45 min by boat), where lava flowed into the ocean and formed beautiful lava tunnels. There you will see penguins, blue-footed boobies, and sea turtles. However, the highlight is diving. You can see sharks, turtles/sea lions, sea lions, rays, seahorses, and many tropical fish.

The tour to Cabo Rosa lasts approximately 5 hours. The rest of the day is free. You can enjoy the beautiful beach of Isabela or snorkel in the Laguna de la Concha de Perla.

day 8 - Baltra – Guayaquil - Lima

At 6:00 am a guide will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the pier to take the 6:30 boat to Santa Cruz. At Puerto Ayora, you will have breakfast and departure for Baltra to catch your flight back to Guayaquil. Arrival and connection with international flight to Lima. Welcome to Perú!

Arrive at Lima´s airport, reception, and transfer to the hotel in Miraflores district, check-in (15:00 hours). Overnight in Lima.

day 9 - Lima – Gastronomic Tour / Peruvian Experience

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will begin your cultural and gastronomic entertainment! Meet the best of Peru through our guided tour, two hours of entertainment and fun await you. Live the whole experience, which includes:

day 10 - Lima History & Culture – Modern Lima

Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, visit the city of colonial and modern Lima. We will have a panoramic view of "La Huaca Pucllana", and visit the imposing historical center of Lima, including its palaces, houses, churches, and plazas, ending with a visit to the residential and financial area of San Isidro. Finally, we will have an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean in the district of Miraflores. Overnight in Lima.

day 11 - Lima – Cusco City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Cusco. Arrival, reception, and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the morning is free to acclimatize to the altitude.

In the afternoon we pick you up for the Cusco city tour where you will visit The Cathedral, Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), and the nearby ruins: Qenqo, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay (also called “The Bath of the Inca”) and Sacsayhuaman Fortress (the place where the main Inca Festivals, Inti Raymi and Warachicuy takes place). Return to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

day 12 - Sacred Valley

Breakfast at the hotel before we depart for our morning visit to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

We will visit the textile center Awanacancha, then we will go to the town of Pisac, here we will visit a picturesque craft market where we can see how until today the locals maintain the tradition of exchanging their things or food, just like in the past.

Lunch at a local restaurant. Later we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo where we will visit the fortress that bears the same name. Here we will visit the most important attractions of the place, and our guide will give us an explanation of its history.

Returning to Cusco, we will visit the town of Chinchero and its small chapel. Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

day 13 - Machu Picchu – Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel. This day will be the highlight of our trip, the visit to the citadel of Machu Picchu. Very early we will depart from Ollanta train station towards the majestic city of Aguas Calientes. The travel time is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

Arrival in Aguas Calientes town, from here we will board the buses to ascend to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, one of the 7 wonders of the world. The tour will be 2 hours and 30 minutes and the visit include the Intihuatana (the Solar Clock), the Palace of the Incas, the Three Windows, etc. At the end, we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes to

go shopping. At a scheduled time, transfer to the station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Overnight in Cusco.
