Ecuador is a small country with an impressive variety of landscapes and terrains and an incredible diversity of species – some of them found nowhere else in the world. An Ecuador eco tour ensures you can travel without harm to the land and its inhabitants and may include experiences like visiting organic farms and using eco-friendly local transportation to cut down fuel and energy consumption. Explore the country’s plant and animal life through ecotourism group tours in Ecuador: go whale watching near the coast of Puerto López; visit Cotopaxi National Park, home to wild horses and the Andean puma; and discover the epic wildlife in the famed Galápagos Islands. These Ecuador eco tours keep the focus on responsible tourism, reducing carbon footprints and using environmentally-friendly practices that do not disrupt the natural ecosystem. Nilton, our Tour Leader in Peru was Excellent! He was always very organized but always very understanding and accommodating to the Group. Juan, our Tour Leader in Quito was Excellent! However, Juan had a hard time with all the variables associated with going to the Galapagos Islands, starting with Avianca Airlines, the always changing weather, and the restrictions from the Galapagos Rangers. We had 5 Galapagos Experts during our 5 days on the Galapagos Islands but 2 of them really stood out and were Wonderful! Shout out to Diana and Mayari!!!

Ecuador is a great destination. A clean, beautiful, blooming, and varied country. We loved it. We enjoyed the variety of locations visited , cities, jungle, volcanoes, hot springs etc. That said, our tour leader was VERY mediocre. He babbled. A specific question would lead to a LONG rambling circular explanation when a short answer would suffice. "I don't know" is an answer as opposed to a bluff or assumption. His use of "local guides" lent VERY LITTLE to the sites visited.

A unique experience - but the booking info and trip notes need a review please !!!

This was my first solo long-haul adventure and I felt privileged and grateful to be immersed in such a unique, fragile and important environment. The wildlife was abundant and spectacular - on land, air and sea. The boat accommodation was excellent and the guide and crew were always on hand, helpful and good-humoured.

Amazing Galapagos adventure trip

This trip surpassed expectations, travelled early May . Covers 4 islands ( with stays ) plus another as a day visit . Lots of snorkeling and one long hike ( volcano Sierra Negra ) , others are short duration of couple hours . Lots of marine wildlife and land wildlife. Sea lions in abundance , very playful and curious. Swam with penguins, sea lions , hammerhead sharks, turtles, copious amounts of fish , many types of birds seen ( obviously including blue footed boobies) , lots of marine iguanas .

Wonderful itinerary. Guides were knowledgeable and patient. Machu Picchu Hotel was very loud with trains, parties and fumes from the trains. Galapagos was one surprise after another. The final hacienda hotel in Quito was breathtaking. By far my favorite accommodation. Great trip.

Peru - a beautiful country. Inca ruins, salt plains, an unforgetable boarding the train and Machu Picchu. Cuzco has so much to offer. Guide was fantastic amd passionate about his country Ecuador has stunning cathedrals and beautiful scenary. Galapagos islands were incredible. So much wildlife seen and lovely to see the conservation efforts for tortoises and other species. Was also amazing to see the Blue footed boobies doing their mating rituals and the frigate birds nesting. Completely unforgettable full on trip
