My recent trip to the Amazon Forest in Ecuador with G Adventures surpassed all expectations and stands out as the best adventure I?ve ever experienced. From start to finish, every aspect of the trip was meticulously planned, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable journey into the heart of the Amazon. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the incredible hosting family we stayed with. Their warmth, hospitality, and genuine kindness made us feel like a part of their community from the moment we arrived. The food they prepared was not only delicious but also a true reflection of the local flavors and culture. Our guide, Andrea, was nothing short of exceptional. His deep knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem, combined with his passion for adventure and commitment to ensuring our safety and enjoyment, truly made him the heart and soul of our experience. Andreas insights and stories added depth to every moment of our journey, and his enthusiasm was contagious. Throughout the trip, every activity was thoughtfully curated to provide us with authentic and immersive experiences in the Amazon. G Adventures has it all: organized itinerary, adventurous activities, wonderful staff, and excellent lodging and meals. Truly the trip of a lifetime in the Galapagos. We ventured to uninhabited islands and saw hundreds of wildlife species, all in 5 days!

Loved the Galapagos!! was a wonderful guide and had so much positive energy, knowledge about the wildlife, and thoughtful suggestions about things to do. The islands were so beautiful, the wildlife was insane (truly a bucket list trip), the hotels were nice, and the food was better than expected as a vegetarian. I feel like the stop in Santa Cruz was a bit rushed with only 1 night - I wish we had more time there to explore, as well as to enjoy the hotel as it was beautiful and we never really had time to enjoy the pool or amenities. Also note that the boat rides between the islands can be a bit tough if you're someone who gets motion sick. Definitely bring meds and you should be good to go. Highly recommend overall and was a trip of a lifetime!

It was like a dream come true. I've learned a lot and got to experience life in a way many do not. The people were amazing, the activities were exciting, and I feel truly bonded to them after just a few short days. I wish the journey never ended.

So incredibly memorable. I can't recommend this tour strong enough! I booked this trip very last minute and thus had minimal time to set any expectations but even if I had, this trip, the group of people, and Gustavo, our fearless CEO, were all so truly phenomenal. We saw penguins feeding, playful sea lions, so many turtles and tortoises, birds galore, sting rays, and we even had a large pod of dolphins accompany our ferry - playing with and swimming alongside our boat. What a truly incredible experience, I feel so fortunate to have been able to experience the islands, to witness the magnificence of both the flora and fauna, and to be welcomed by the Galapaguenos. It was a trip of a lifetime, thank you!

Sooooo many activities and such a fun time! Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and knew the best spots. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a balance of active adventures, going out, and meeting locals.
