About Nikos

Ι am a 33-year-old Athenian and totally in love with my place of birth! I have a background in economics and I also hold an MBA degree, both of which really helped me join the travel and tourism sector as an entrepreneur. As a traveler, I’ve visited many places and wanted to explore each one like a local. I decided that traveling was what I love most in life as a kid, while on my very first trip, visiting London with my family. This decision still holds true to this day. The exhilarating feeling of the plane taking off, the fascinating adventure of getting to know a new country, its customs, and culture, and the challenge of communicating with the locals despite the language barrier was—and still is—the best thing I had ever experienced. Later, I became the one organizing annual trips abroad with my group of friends. Deciding on which places to stay, visit, see and experience, thrilled me so much that I decided that it was what I wanted to do for a living. Since then, I have stayed true to my goals making traveling—and organizing other people’s travels—my mission.

Nikos's Best Travel Experience

On a road trip to the south of France, about 7 years ago, I got a flat tire outside a stranded village in the middle of nowhere. I had no signal, no way to fix the tire, and what felt like no hope. It was a picture taken out of a movie. In an effort to find help, I wandered around the scenic village only to find a kind old man on the porch of his house. He was so old that he couldn’t physically help, but he invited me and my girlfriend in for a meal. His wife had made the most mouthwatering homemade meal I had ever tasted, and being Greek that says a lot! We ended up spending the night in their spare bedroom with stomachs full of delicious food and local wine. We left the next day with a basket full of goodies from their farm. I still can't believe my luck and the kindness we were shown. This sweet old couple will forever be in my heart!
