Was a wonderful experience for my first time. The scenery was great and a wonderful guide and driver. Being a small group everyone was friendly. I enjoyed the lovely hotels and castle we stayed in. The season was the right time for travelling. Well done Peter for the interesting places he showed us. Was great to visit Loch Ness even though Nessie was hiding. People so friendly. Didn’t see an otter or fox. The crows were great what huge nests. Again thanks so much for the trip and your kindness when I became ill. Just wished my suitcase had been bigger. All the towns we visited and ferry crossings were fantastic.

Loved this tour. A bit of the regular tourist route in Italy, yet still with all the flavours of Italy. Our tour leader Fabio was great, as was Paulo our driver. Loved the small group and the smaller bus. Much of the accommodation was unique to the areas visited.

A well organised trip with excellent tour director. The itinerary was comprehensive taking in all of the best sights of New Zealand. Day excursions were interesting and fun, the hotels and food were very good quality - in all excellent value for money.

The Dordogne trip was outstanding - beautiful scenery, quaint and comfortable hotels, excellent food and days longs enough to feel the benefit of walking but not so long to make you too exhausted to enjoy arriving. Added bonus was our ability to enjoy a “coupe” everywhere we landed.

We were very satisfied with the arrangements made for our trip which we only booked very close to the proposed departure date. Accommodation was very good and the arrangements for transfer of luggage and ourselves between departure points for the walks worked without a hitch. App for walk was easy to use and accurate. Would use the same organisation again for future walks.

This was a beautifully curated itinerary that provided a perfect balance of iconic highlights, cultural experiences, and free time to explore independently. The accommodations were well located, transportation arrangements were seamless, and the pace allowed us to truly enjoy each destination without feeling rushed. The combination of vibrant cities, historic landmarks, local cuisine, and scenic countryside made the journey through Spain and Portugal unforgettable. Highlights included the rich culture of Madrid, the architecture and atmosphere of Barcelona, the charm of Seville, and the stunning landscapes and hospitality throughout Portugal. The attention to detail and organization gave us confidence throughout the trip, while still allowing flexibility for personal discoveries. We would highly recommend this itinerary to anyone looking for a stylish, well-planned, and memorable experience in Spain and Portugal.

First thing to know about LG's Majestic trip through Switzerland is the stunning natural beauty of this country's forests and hills (lovely greenery), huge blue lakes, snow capped mountains, and the Swiss people that are very friendly, happy and nice. This country is charming and delightful to see. That's not something you can buy on a trip to any place. Second, we had an amazingly great tour guide in Carl Eggeling. He is relatable and a master of information on how Switzerland thrived with its neighboring countries through trade, common language, religion and, often, despite wars. My husband was especially happy to discuss all things military with Carl. What a find you have with him! Our bus driver, Christof, was at home on all city, country and narrow mountain routes we took throughout our journey. Always on time, cheerful and helpful. Another great find! Lastly, we traveled with our friends, June and Jeff, on this trip. Through word of mouth, June had heard from fellow LG travelers on a trip to Japan that the Majestic Switzerland trip was fantastic. We compared it to a similar trip by Tauck and liked LG much better for the value. We have not traveled with Tauck although I've heard good things about it. We simply have had a great experience with LG on our Spain/Portugal trip with our tour guide Lana and our South of France trip with our tour guide Sarah. Like June and Jeff, we have traveled with LG before and took advantage of the loyalty program discount plus the discount offered through Costco. We count on LG to have great places to stay, wonderful restaurants to enjoy and an unforgettable travel experience. We are very happy with LG.

We loved our trip but did find the trekking harder than expected due to the technical terrain and altitude.

The Upper Mustang trek was a truly wonderful journey, especially in combination with the Tiji Festival. The mix of hiking, jeep transfers, and overnight stays in tents made it feel like a genuine expedition. The support from the entire staff was outstanding. Our tents were set up for us each day and taken down again as soon as our group departed for the next stage of the trek. Every morning, we were welcomed with a cup of warm water or tea, and upon arriving at camp each afternoon, we were provided with a bowl of hot washing water, a much-appreciated comfort after a long day on the trail. Upper Mustang is an extremely dusty region, and you certainly notice that during the trek. Fortunately, we were able to avoid most of the roads by taking hiking trails, and many of the trekking days were demanding and sometimes strenuous. Daily altitude changes were significant, often climbing from around 3,000-3,200 metres to over 4,000 metres, then descending again before making another ascent the following day. This made the trek a rewarding challenge every day. Despite the physical demands, our entire group enjoyed every moment of the experience. I would like to thank all the staff and guides once again for their excellent support, professionalism, and outstanding service throughout the trip.
