Absolutely loved this tour! I especially appreciate Tour Guide Tenzin for his in-depth knowledge and thorough explanations during our visits to the monasteries and the Potala Palace. As a native Tibetan and a practicing Buddhist, his background significantly enriched our conversations and gave me the deeper understanding I was hoping to gain from this trip. His discretion, patience, and enthusiasm were truly outstanding and made the experience even more meaningful. Walking through Jokhang Temple and seeing pilgrims praying was deeply moving. I felt immersed in Tibetan culture from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Lhasa.

This was one of the most incredible trips I’ve ever taken. The group was friendly and the pace was just right. I felt very well taken care of, and the guide ensured we had plenty of time to take photos and relax. He constantly went above and beyond to meet our needs and make sure we were having a great time. He was kind, patient, and has a real passion for what he does. Also has a great sense of humor. This tour keeps you busy and moving and learning every day. You have a new hotel every day. Sometimes you have to use the stairs, so make sure to not overpack. Keep your bags, light! There are plenty of activities to do during the day and there are also outings that you can sign up for. Your choice. My son wanted to get a kilt in Edinburgh so we were able to break away from the group while they took the City tour so we could go and get him fitted for his kilt. We met the group back up at the castle for the castle tour. It all worked out perfectly. There’s definitely the possibility for flexibility.. Our tour purchase was pretty straightforward. We booked in advance with the down payment and made monthly payments until our trip was paid off. For the outings during the tour. We got to select what we wanted to do once the tour started and paid for it during the trip. It was really easy. You could sign up for as much as you wanted or as little as you wanted as far as outings were concerned.

We were lucky to have amazing weather for our entire trip and everything was arranged to perfection. We were advised to upgrade to the chopper from Kathmandu which saved us 2 days due to weather at Lukla. Every day went smoothly with each lodge offering warm and friendly welcome. Our guide Darwa was knowledgeable and looked after us at all times. The Nepalese people were amazing to us at every turn. We will be going back.
