It was a splendid introductory trip. The guides in each city were very good; the the cities themselves were fascinating. We chose our own restaurants which was easy. The museums were quite spectacular, and if you like art Botelo is a master of painting and sculpture. I must say I was confused about the preparatory organization, since it all seemed to be done on-line; and did not come together in a package for us until a few days before we arrived, but in the end the logistics were excellent. The cars and guides arrived on time at every stop, and the hotels were very good. So all in all, well done.

The itinerary was beautiful. It would have been nice if some of the optional excursions were already included. Insight is a higher end travel group and should include more. The hotels were beautiful and in central locations. One improvement would be that there should be more menu options for the dinners that were included. Some of the guests ate very little at our farewell dinner. Our tour director Barbara Tagliavento was awesome. She was very knowledgeable and paid attention to details. We felt very safe with her. Our driver Antonello was excellent and we felt very safe travelling with him. Our biggest complaint is that there should be an option to be taken to Linate Airport at the end of the tour from the Milan hotel. There are no direct flights from Milan to Toronto so we needed to fly into Rome first. Flights to Rome are only available from Linate airport. This was an extra expense for us that I feel should have been covered by Insight. We did enjoy our tour very much very much!

This was the trip of a lifetime. We fell in love with Porto the minute we set foot in the city.....and Gaia was also amazing. Each town we visited was delightful and we highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Portugal by foot, by boat, and by car/coach. Simply amazing.

Had an amazing time in Japan! The only thing we can say which really wasn’t a challenge as such, was that on our last morning we were being picked up for the airport before the hotel’s breakfast time and we had already paid for that meal. So we had to purchase breakfast elsewhere. Onsens are always a great experience. All three trips that we have booked with you previously have all been a great experience
