We had an amazing time doing the coast to coast trip across Costa Rica everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guides Dani, Jose and Memo where fantastic and spoke perfectly good English. Nothing was too much trouble. The food they prepared in the evenings was excellent. Dani, Jose and Memo are very knowledgeable and kept us updated on the wildlife and facts.

We had a wonderful experience! Our first stop was rustic and beautiful. The food was delicious and there was plenty to do during our “off” time. The second resort was an amazing location with beautiful views. The rooms were comfortable with air conditioning. The bathrooms could use some updating. The final stop was stunning with pool and ocean views. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. All and all, three memorable visits.

It was a great trip and we covered a lot of ground! It was my 4th visit to Costa Rica and my first with Trafalgar. We had a great guide in Yader and were well taken care of. Overall very satisfied and would recommend to other travellers. Minor observations - we had four local talks which were well done and very interesting, but were too long, over an hour each. Usually after a long bus ride. People were tired and had been sitting for a long time. Would suggest making them shorter and perhaps over a meal. Also surprised that not all the meals were included, not a big deal but thought it was all inclusive. Also apparently not all the tips were included either, I had paid tips in advance. Well organized and fun and highly recommended!

I have traveled to many countries before, mostly with the tour operator. I've been to at least 30 European countries, but this is definitely my new favourite destination and tour. To reach Colombia I had to undertake a few flights, this is the main reason why I choose this tour in the first place as it also includes Panama and Costa Rica - and make it worth the long return trip. Everybody was concerned when they heard I'm traveling to Colombia, but I felt save every single moment and I think Colombians are the most friendly and sincere people ever! The destinations on the Colombia part of the tour is stunning, and a perfect balance of cities, nature, food, drinks and attractions. Bogota walking tour was a surprize, so was Armenia coffee region. Medellin was unbelievable (I watched Narcos on Netflix before this!), but I so much enjoyed the destinations of St Marta and Cartagena on the Caribbean coast. There was even a resort stay on our own private beach with sunset dinner on the beach included! Panama City ... well a big city with all the things of a a big city. But, the Jungle is always just 10 minutes away and being from a engineering background, was fabulous to see so much of the famous Panama Canal! The included flight to Bocas del Toro was so fast and again, 2 full more days of Caribbean and plenty of Islands. And another private beach resort! The border crossing to Costa Rica was interesting - you have to walk across a bridge with your bags - followed by the drive up the coast and then to Arenal. The next 6 days is just pure overwhelming beautiful nature. I saw so many animals and wild life - including sloths! I can write so much more! But... just book the tour and see it yourself.

This trip was beyond anything I could have imagined from the amazing adventures - surfing, canyoning, zip lining, hanging bridges to the beautiful sights and people of Costa Rica. Contiki and our tour manager did an amazing job of planning very was so smooth and I loved the balance between rainforest and beach days. Our group was amazing we are already planning our reunion trip!!!

Best of the 4 contikis I have done. I found the group very intimate with a slightly smaller number than most of the European trips. There are quite alot of activities that keep you busy and serve as great opportunities to bond with your group Super adventurous and outdoors Good blend between forests and beaches. Accommodation In most places were absolutely amazing particularly in Tamarindo which felt like paradise. Some activities I felt required some degree of fitness. Although it is reportedly more expensive than other Latin American countries, it hadn't been as bad as expected It was a very balanced trip Very little travel time and thus spent most of the time at the destinations Great nights out Shout out to out Trip Manager *Personal details removed by Feefo* Who was absolutely fantastic and efficient. Manny was truly amazing - we didn’t have to use our brain once the whole 10 days because of how organised he was and everything ran so seamlessly. This trip was amazing. I did so many things I have never done before and things that I was terrified to do like the zip lining but I’m so glad I did them. It was a great mix of adventure and choosing to do something relaxing if your body needed a rest. I made friends for life, I will cherish this trip forever. I even got a tattoo that is so meaningful to me. Thanks for such an amazing adventure and healing trip!
