Hi Lily I want to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for organising an excellent tour for my family and me. We enjoyed our holiday tremendously. We found our guides, Vivian and Cindy to be excellent. They were very friendly, polite and had an excellent command of English. They were very knowledgeable on the history of the sites and provided added value by also providing us a perspective of the culture and lifestyle of the local people. They both went out of their way to take care of our needs during the trip. They were very helpful in answering our questions and also assisted us tremendously during our meals by ensuring the staff of the restaurants adhered to our dietary requirements. As I had my 80 year old mother with me, they were very considerate of her requirements, encouraging her to rest and making sure she was safe during the trip. All in all we had a very pleasurable time in Beijing and Xian. We will definitely be visiting China again. On our next trip we hope to visit some scenic sites. I would also like to see either the Yang Tze Kiang or Hwang Ho river! I also would like to thank you for acting very fast in making the late changes I requested to the itinerary at Xian. All in I found this local travel expert to be very professional and efficient. I will certainly use your services on my next trip and will definitely recommend you to my friends and relatives. We would like to thank and appreciate your support when we constantly kept changing our schedule; your flexibility was marvelous to us especially because we had a 7 year old kid who needed more attention on her mood than my teen one. I also really appreciate the local travel specialist for the easy method of tour payment. We read many reviews before chose you and your active reply also helped us a lot on understanding the situation before we reached the destinations. We liked Jackie a lot. He was honest, open minded, entertaining, attentive, high spirited, and talkative (knowledgeable) in terms of history. We also liked Vivian in the different way. She was straight forward about the condition of the location as well as the history/knowledge in general aspect. She was also very creative in taking memorable photo poses. She was helpful and patient when she had to accommodate our requests.

We thoroughly enjoyed Mountains and Monasteries. It comprehensively covered everything possible to see and do. The tour leader was outstanding and organisation faultless. Me along with two of my friends did the two-week Khopra ridge community trek. The was a fun guy with lot of knowledge about the mountains. He was equally helpful and very caring. The experience was amazing, the trip was very well organised, the countries we got to experience were incredible and the tour manager (Joel) was fantastic, it’s clear he knew a lot about the places we were going to, gave good recommendations, made an effort to build a relationship with all of us and was just very organised in general. If I had one piece of feedback it would be on the Argentine portion of the trip. Whilst I did enjoy the time spent in Buenos Aires, it didn’t feel like it fit in the flow with the rest of the tour, it felt a bit like a completely different trip whereas it felt the Peru and Brazil portions fit quite well together. Additionally, whilst I had no issue with the quality of the Buenos Aires hotel, my roommate had complaints about the cleanliness of the room and made a complaint to the front desk and I felt the way they handled the complaint was very poor, there was no real effort put in to make my roommate feel more comfortable and we had to involve our tour manager and he was really great in the situation but ultimately my roommate felt the need to book her own hotel for the duration of the Buenos Aires portion so I think the hotel choice could be looked into a bit if possible. Additionally, the excursion to Tigre looked like it could’ve been quite nice in the summer, however, our tour took place in winter so the kayaking and swimming that was advertised wasn’t actually available when we arrived on the island. The resort we spent the day at was beautiful but we pretty much ate lunch and then stood around for over an hour, all of us who partook in that FTAO agreed that the experience was not worth the price and maybe an alternate FTAO could be considered in the colder months. The Peru and Brazil portion of the trip was absolutely fantastic and overall it was an incredible experience!
