I did the 12 day tour of Vietnam and I cant recommend it enough! It was amazing to see so many different places (Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh). Our leader Lauren was brilliant, she is so helpful and knowledgeable about everywhere we visited. She was also just great fun! Cant wait to do another intro tour in the future.

This was a great trip. Our guide, Thin, was fantastic and the itinerary meant that we got to see all of the highlights of Vietnam whilst not being rushed because we had a few days in each place. Having said that, we still packed a lot in, with lots of additional optionals that were brilliant.

Ive done 3 trips with intro and loved them all, but my most recent one with Jabs and Sophie in Vietnam was especially memorable. The trip gave a comprehensive tour of some of the main sights in Vietnam. The walking elements in Pu Luong, the hike to My Son temple, and the Mekong Delta were highlights, as was Hanoi. Most of the other walks were sightseeing tours in the cities. Our guide Juan was very organised and professional, and his insights into the history and people were very interesting. The standard of the accommodation was very good. The walking was very sedate and would be doable for almost all travellers. As an introduction to the country, it ticked all the boxes.

This trip was honestly everything we hoped for and more. Every place we visited felt special in its own way, and the whole itinerary just flowed so smoothly. We got to see the famous sights, but also had moments that felt really personal—like sitting with Mr. Duoc in Ba Vi, hearing his stories from the war. It was something we’ll never forget. Mrs. Chin's cooking class in her garden kitchen was another favorite—she made us feel so welcome, and the food was amazing. We also found some great little restaurants along the way (shoutout to the grilled eggplant in Hoi An—wow). Thank you, Ellie, for planning everything so perfectly. You really took the stress out of it and helped make this such a memorable trip. We already miss Vietnam… and we’re already talking about coming back.

We really enjoyed this comprehensive tour of Vietnam. Including time in more rural areas as well as the well known cities and sites, it gave us a great insight into local culture and there was plenty of opportunity to meet the locals who were incredibly friendly. The trip ran seemlesly in the extremely capable hands of our tour leader Diem, one of the best we've had (this was our 6th family holiday with Explore). Highlights would include all of the bike rides, exploring Tam Coc caves by boat, Saigon by cyclo, the amazing food, so fresh and plentiful, and the kids loved haggling for bargains in the markets and shops (especially Hoi An). Accommodation and transport were both of a great standard. Well done Explore!

1st off Tam the guide was extremely well informed and competent with his knowledge and love of Viet Nam that he shared with the group. Highlights for me included: Mekong Delta cruise. Hoi An old town. Vespa tour at night Sailing Cat Ba. A great experience of culture, food, wartime history and beautiful scenery. Wi-Fi in Thanh Lich Hotel was terrible.
