We knew nothing at all about this area in advance - other than the Exodus write up. If anything, we were a bit apprehensive, because Alicante and Benidorm get a bad press in the UK. Why do we never hear of this unspoilt, fantastic scenery just inland?

The Spain tour we were was very good. The hotels were fine as were the breakfast meals. The guides were excellent at each stop as well as our guide and driver for the entire tour.

Starting in Barcelona, the tour offered an exquisite exploration of the main destinations in the south of Spain, immersing us in the regions rich culture, delectable food, captivating attractions, and unique excursions. Our guide, a local expert, provided us with exceptional communication and profound knowledge about the area, enhancing our journey with insightful narratives. Some highlights include the palaces/castles, sea towns, food, iconic sites such as La Sagrada Familia, architecture that was influenced by different religions over time Primarily christianity Islam. Our group in Spain was a vibrant mix of English speaking tourists from around the globe, which was fun.
What set this tour apart was the seamless transition to Morocco via ferry. Upon arriving in Morocco, the composition of our group shifted predominantly to Spanish speakers from various countries. However, the consistent provision of English-speaking guides ensured that language barriers were non-existent, allowing for an inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone. In Morocco, we were guided by Souzie, a local whose exceptional knowledge and engaging personality made him unforgettable. He is an excellent guide and cant highly recommend him more. He did an excellent job of blending social interactions, information, and fun into our journey. In terms of sites to see, Morocco has a lot - from Marrakech market, to major cities like Casablanca, and the breathtaking Sahara, truly remarkable. Being guided by Souzie was a privilege that enriched our understanding and appreciation of Moroccos cultural and scenic beauty. Food and accommodations in Morocco were excellent
The linguistic proficiency of all guides throughout our trip was impressive, facilitating clear and effective communication. The itinerary was thoughtfully organized, presenting a logical sequence of destinations and ensuring a comprehensive exploration of each location. With days packed full of activities and sights, there was never a dull moment, yet ample flexibility was provided for those seeking relaxation. Europe the easy way- right way to tell what I experienced. I’ve done my fair share of planning trips in my 40s.booking hotels, figuring out trains, missing connections. This time, I wanted ease. These guys delivered. From the moment we landed in Paris, everything was taken care of: the transfers, guides, comfortable hotels, even entrance tickets to major sites.
We explored iconic French towns like Giverny and Amboise, and that day in Mont-St-Michel was something I’ll remember forever. The Spain portion felt like a warm breeze after the cooler French north..Montserrat’s mountaintop monastery was stunning, and I loved our time in Barcelona. The evenings were ours, which meant we could explore or just relax with a glass of wine.
I met people my age from across North America, and it was so refreshing to travel with others who wanted to experience culture, but not at a breakneck pace. Highly recommend for anyone who wants that balance of exploration and comfort.
