The travel team designed a solo trip to Buenos Aires and Patagonia for me last year which was outstanding, so when I decided to go to Peru and Machu Picchu, I asked them to design a tour for me again. They arranged everything for me - transportation from each location with a driver and a bilingual guide to explain that portion of my trip. There were heavy rains in Machu Picchu before my arrival so some trails were closed and they made last minute arrangements for alternatives without problem. They provide you with multiple ways to contact them 24/7 while you're traveling, and I had to contact them once in the middle of the night to confirm a pickup time - they responded on What's App within 2 minutes and got the issue sorted immediately. I will use their company for any of my travels to South America - they are local experts, professional, and extremely easy to work with. Highly recommend!
This was a terrific group tour. Wonderful itinerary, with hikes that could be modified for various levels. Lots of very interesting sights. Included hotels were very good. Our guide, Pili, made sure everyone was well taken care of, from the sprinters to the turtles and that all were having a good time. Her depth of knowledge in so many areas was truly impressive (including geography, culture, history, ecology, flora and fauna). Her passion was infectious! The group included single travelers as well as couples, and people came from several different countries.
I and my partner did Upper Mustang Trek with Himalayanleisure in June 2018. It was a great experience. The flights couldn't happen due to bad weather so we took a private jeep which was an adventure. The trek was arranged nicely and the staffs were very caring. Our guide and porter made the trek possible. It is a beautiful trek I can recommend to other people in rainy season in Nepal. In general, when we reach high, there was no rain.
A beautiful valley hike through forest at lower levels then up above the treeline with views of Langtang peaks and Nyakanga. Most people do this trek in 5 days but being older (l66 & 71) we organized it to do in 8 days which worked well. It provided for a nice pace and a chance to really experience the Tamang culture.
