A wonderful experience in Western Mongolia. So well supported by a great team of people. Our guide Chimge was beautiful, as were the cooks and drivers who worked so hard to ensure we were well looked after. We appreciated having the camels and horses carry our gear on the treks on the more difficult parts of the terrain and in case of injury or illness. I came away with so many photos from the Western Panorama trip. The tents provided were good and the felt sleeping pads helped make it a comfortable night's sleep. We had ample food despite being in remote locations.
Loved every minute of our Mongolian adventure. Spectacular scenery, very friendly people, amazing culture and history. The trip was well organised and the support crew were wonderful.
What an excellent trip: well-immersed in Mongolian / Kazakhi nomadic culture; hiking in the spectacular Altai Mtns; insightful discussion of Mongolian history. The support team was exceptional - professional, courteous, hilarious, talented - just brilliant.
The trip was great. The local company used was amazing. We saw everything we expected and it was even beyond expectations.
Great trip. Landscape was breathtaking. The hospitality of everyone was very impressive. Flexibility with the itinerary is essential.
Picture yourself trekking through Mongolia’s remote west, where glaciers, vast steppe, and nomadic cultures converge. The Mongolian Panorama tour invites seasoned adventurers and mature travelers to experience an 18-day hiking journey unlike any other. Begin in Ulaanbaatar before flying to the wilds of western Mongolia, where you’ll trek to the Turgen Mountains’ icy glaciers and traverse the dramatic Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. Highlights include visits with local herders, learning Kazakh hunting traditions, and witnessing Tuvan throat-singing. For the July departure, enjoy the spectacle of the Naadam festival, with its lively horse racing and archery. The standout aspect of this tour package is the chance to immerse yourself in both Mongolia’s raw nature and its living cultural heritage—creating an unforgettable adventure for those eager to go beyond the ordinary.
