It capture so much of Spain--its rich history and its people. In just one week, we visited at least eight cities. I recommend this tour for those who want to experience this country.
We had a great time with our Europamundo guide, Maria. She was very professional and made a great effort to see to it that everything goes smoothly. Agnes, the guide from Barcelona, was also very informative and amazing. If all of the guides you have are like them, then I would without a doubt book with you again. I also appreciate the free time and transfers provided for dinner. Just a few points for improvement would pertain to more sites visited. I understand that the logic is that a not a lot of people want to do the same thing but I wish more maps and more detailed information could be provided as to how to go about the city. Maria was able to provide maps and information on how to get about the city and it was sufficient of course. However, some travellers who are not attuned to traveling might be a little iffy in exploring on their own. In general though, great tour and Id definitely do it again.
We saw a lot of Sapin which was what we wanted. The itinerary was great. However, it was a bit rushed and a lot more walking then indicated.
The coach was very nice, comfortable and well equipped, nice big window as long as you were not seated by a partition of the windows.
The hotels were for the most part very nice. The hotel in Valencia was terrible.
The blend of guided tours and personal time was perfect. I particularly loved the day in Seville; the city's vibrancy was contagious! The hotels were mostly great, with Porto being my favorite stop. I appreciated the professionalism of the staff and how smoothly everything ran. A must-do for anyone interested in the Iberian Peninsula.
Admire impressive and remarkable viewpoints overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. See the region’s most beautiful landmarks, including Ponta da Piedade, Cabo Sao Vincente’s beautiful cliffs, and the UNESCO-listed city of Evora. Visit the southern Portugal regions of the famous beaches of the Algarve. Travel through the peaceful landscapes of vast open plains of golden wheat fields, almond and olive orchards, and cork oak trees of the sunny region. This itinerary allows you to experience the diverse beauty of southern Portugal, from the vibrant cities to the picturesque coastal towns of the region
Perfect tour for a city trip to Madrid. The hotel is very centrally located, so you can walk to all major sights within 30 minutes. The included bus ticket also gives you the opportunity to see Madrid from a wider area. Pick-up from the airport worked great.
I highly recommend the Europamundo tour through Spain and Morocco. It was an adventure of a lifetime, and I am eager to share my experiences to help others contemplating this journey.
Starting in Barcelona, the tour offered an exquisite exploration of the main destinations in the south of Spain, immersing us in the regions rich culture, delectable food, captivating attractions, and unique excursions. Our guide, a local expert, provided us with exceptional communication and profound knowledge about the area, enhancing our journey with insightful narratives. Some highlights include the palaces/castles, sea towns, food, iconic sites such as La Sagrada Familia, architecture that was influenced by different religions over time Primarily christianity Islam. Our group in Spain was a vibrant mix of English speaking tourists from around the globe, which was fun.
What set this tour apart was the seamless transition to Morocco via ferry. Upon arriving in Morocco, the composition of our group shifted predominantly to Spanish speakers from various countries. However, the consistent provision of English-speaking guides ensured that language barriers were non-existent, allowing for an inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone. In Morocco, we were guided by Souzie, a local whose exceptional knowledge and engaging personality made him unforgettable. He is an excellent guide and cant highly recommend him more. He did an excellent job of blending social interactions, information, and fun into our journey. In terms of sites to see, Morocco has a lot - from Marrakech market, to major cities like Casablanca, and the breathtaking Sahara, truly remarkable. Being guided by Souzie was a privilege that enriched our understanding and appreciation of Moroccos cultural and scenic beauty. Food and accommodations in Morocco were excellent
The linguistic proficiency of all guides throughout our trip was impressive, facilitating clear and effective communication. The itinerary was thoughtfully organized, presenting a logical sequence of destinations and ensuring a comprehensive exploration of each location. With days packed full of activities and sights, there was never a dull moment, yet ample flexibility was provided for those seeking relaxation. All transportation was meticulously arranged, with comfort and convenience as top priorities, showcasing Europamundos dedication to guest satisfaction.
To conclude, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone interested in exploring the south of Spain and Morocco. The combination of these two regions offers a diverse and engaging experience. This tour is a perfect blend of adventure and cultural immersion, suitable for both seasoned travelers and those embarking on their first international adventure. And the cost was highly competitive
We saw and learned a great deal and had what I felt was enough free time and choices. Our guide was great - knowledgeable, personable, and could anticipate our needs. We had a nice group - 29 persons which wasn't too large.
The trip is hectic on some days especially for seniors.Maybe you could consider some senior friendly trips. All else met with our expectations as we read through all docs sent and the travel agency was clear about the trip. Thank you.
Situated on the north Mediterranean coast, Barcelona is the second largest city in Spain and the home of Catalan Modernism. This beautiful city is best known for Antoni Gaudí's masterpieces, declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, but that’s not all it has to offer. Its Roman origins, long history and economic dynamism have made Barcelona both a cosmopolitan and cultural city. Enjoy this three-day city break and discover Barcelona though its culture, lifestyle and gastronomy.
