Meet your group members in Canggu. Hop on your bike and hit the trail to Jatiluwih, followed by Bedugul, Mount Abang and Mount Batur. Five days in a row on a bike can be a bit of a challenge, specially if the track has a lot of variety, and we do not recommend this trip to the uninitiated. But for those who have enough experience, this trip is sure to be a memorable journey. Pedal through tracks that run uphill, plunge downhill and are everything else in between. Ride around the rim of Mount Batur's caldera on a single track with an ocean on the one side and volcanic mountains on the other and hurtle downhill for 35 km from the volcanic mountain all the way to Ubud. Would I recommend this particular adventure to a friend, in a word no. However I would caveat this with I had a great time and I would definitely recommend G adventures as a tour group and these three countries are definitely worth visiting. It's only a couple of small points that need 'ironing out' which is understandable considering the relatively new itinerary that has been created. Our CEO minty ensured a smooth tour and I suspect that another tour guide would have handled the issues not as effectively. Thank you, G Adventures, for a wonderful once in a lifetime experience.
