Our group of three had a wonderful experience despite some weather difficulties. Our guide, Raju, did an amazing job leading us and his company worked the logistical angles well to ultimately get us to Everest Base Camp. Never take guides but this time Nepali government forced me to. Me and my colleague from another realm was given experienced commander Kumar with many extraordinary skills including searching, tracking, pathfinding. When you barely see some movement in the forest he already knows this is gray langur female 10 years old, 12 kg, well fed with one infant posing no threat to us. On the trip we definitely saw and experienced more than we expected. Since then we decided to always take a guide in Nepal.

My guide Raju was spectacular. He really knew how to get things done in the tea houses. The logistics are all taken care for you, no worries. I made some really good friends along the route that ended up staying in the same place multiple nights and had a lot of great conversation. The views of the hike were great and I think this is a great selection over EBC and Annapurna.
Mustang area is great, few visitors, beautiful monasteries and great landscapes!
Bhutan is just perfect! I would recommend everyone to try these destinations.
