I recently completed an incredible 15-day trek to the Annapurna Circuit, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life! From start to finish, everything was organized perfectly, and the team made sure that every aspect of the journey was seamless.
A huge shoutout to my guide, Raja Ram Bhai, whose expertise, kindness, and personal touch elevated the entire trek. Raja’s knowledge of the route, the culture, and the local history made the experience feel so much richer. His constant care for my well-being and his patience with any questions or concerns I had made me feel safe and at ease, even during the most challenging parts of the trek. Whether it was pointing out the best viewpoints, explaining the significance of local traditions, or sharing stories about the mountain people, Raja was a wealth of knowledge and always made the trek enjoyable.
One of the highlights of the journey was the detour to Tilicho Lake—a stunning high-altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks. The hike to Tilicho was demanding, but absolutely worth it. Standing at the edge of the lake, with its surreal turquoise waters reflecting the towering mountains around, felt like stepping into a dream. Raja made sure we took our time to acclimatize properly and appreciate the stunning landscapes that led up to the lake. The views were beyond anything I could have imagined, and it’s an experience I’ll never forget.
The trek itself was absolutely stunning, with the Annapurna Circuit offering a variety of landscapes—from lush forests to high-altitude deserts, and breathtaking mountain views at every turn. We crossed Thorong La Pass, which was both physically demanding and incredibly rewarding, and the sense of achievement upon reaching the top was unforgettable.
Spectacular scenery and much more variety than the Everest Base Camp trek I did back in 2005. Also much more challenging since you start at 800 m and climb to 5,100m.

We were very happy and impressed with the experience we received on this trek. When we arrived in Kathmandu there was heavy rains and flooding that disrupted normal travel to the Everest region. Yet, this tour operator did an amazing job at organizing everything for us so that we didn’t miss anything and started on time. Our guide Pasang Tamang was amazing and friendly, and he did a fantastic job communicating with us and keeping us safe. Very highly recommend, and I hope to go on another trip with Pasang again.

We recently did the Langtang Valley trek with this tour operator. Our guide was Mr. Pasang Sherpa, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the local flora, fauna, and culture of Nepal. His stories and insights made the trek even more enjoyable. We learned so much about the history of the region and were amazed by his ability to spot rare wildlife along the trail. Mr. Pasang's passion for the mountains and his genuine care for our group made us feel safe and well taken care of throughout the entire trek. I did Everest base camp trek in the month of April 2023 with the support of this local travel specialist and it was one of my favorite treks. The view of the mountains were incredible throughout the journey. Most importantly view from Kala Patthar view point was spectacular. Overall my Everest base camp trek was remarkable.
I just completed a EBC and Gokyo Valley trip organized by this local travel specialist based in Nepal, what a wonderful itinerary. EBC is a bit of a letdown as there isn't much to see but Kala Patthar, the glaciers, the mountain pass and Gokyo part of the trip certainly make up for it. At times challenging with the altitude but worth the effort. Everything went smoothly with the company, if you are traveling solo expect tto share a room in the tea houses unless you communicate in advance specific needs or request. Most teahouses have sharing accommodations and rely on income form meals, so unless it is planned in advance sharing would be expected. Overall communication was prompt and excellent, our guide was very knowledgeable, experienced, and patient. Our group was very small, just two of us. I had a bit of altitude sickness and was unsure about being able to complete the mountain pass after EBC, I had no doubt arrangements would be made should I needed to come back sooner. The agency was also great with hotel accommodations and tours in Kathmandu. Highly recommend them, Arjum and Raj are geat to work with.

In addition to his technical skills as a guide, Mingma's cheerful personality and sense of humor made the trek a truly enjoyable and fun experience.
