I am glad to say that I did the Dolpo after a few friends recommended me. Booking with the operator was an easy process and they replied to all my queries on email instantly. The trip was perfectly managed by Rajendra, the itinerary was very good. Venn our guide and Sandeep our porter were very professional and kind, we had great time together. Venn knows very well the area so he explained to us the mountains, the itinerary, and shared good and interesting conversations about life in Nepal.

We were a pair, that just finished the Gokyo trip. The experience was amazing, and the local operator (Dipak, our guide Bhanu, and all others that helped) did a great job. My girlfriend was worried by altitude sickness, and we had a slow and steady trek, and in the end, we both managed to "climb" to the 5360 m high Gokyo Ri! We are very grateful to our local tour operator for this experience.
The weather was amazing (I really recommend going in mid October), and so were the views of course! The culture, nature, food and overall exercise you will do on this trek are amazing. Moreover, after Namche Bazar, it becomes much less crowded (due to the fact, that hundreds go to see Everest Base Camp), and we really wanted to avoid the crowds. The Gokyo valley is peaceful, serene, and offers breathtaking views on Cho Oyu troughout the trek, and on Sagarmatha (Everest) on several occasions (basically, everytime you "climb" a bit higher).

Thanks to the very swift reply of Thinley and his team an easy booking of my 13 days of stay in Bhutan was complete in 3 days including flights to Paro and e-Visa. Thinley was always responsible to my needs during my stay. This local travel specialist does have excellent connections so that my trekking was led by an experienced mountain guide and a team, which made my trekking experience very safe. They do also have a wide variety of 3* to 5* hotels, which accommodate everybody’s need. As a trekker I chose 3* hotels and was very happy.

It was an exceptional experience with a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The pace was well-adapted—we traveled as a family, with parents aged 69 and a son aged 34.
Excellent support by the local tour operator. We had a wonderful trek in the Poon hill Region. Our guide Bikram & his team were fantastic. I see poon hill when sun is rise wow, i can't forget this is far good. The climb is really hard but the views and scenery is awesome.
