An amazing trip, seeing so many different sides of Italy, the main tourist centres, but the rural villages. Fantastically organised and supported when things went wrong (personal injury). Highly recommend this trip for adventurers.

This trip was incredible….A perfect balance of guided informational tours and free time for exploring your interests. The areas of Italy included were connected thoughtfully with stops in smaller villages between larger metropolitan cities. This divided the travel time into short segments and made the trips between cities enjoyable. We were greeted at the airport with enthusiasm and roses by Joseba and Maxie. Joseba provided us with great advice and then was with us with local Rome expert Mano for a lovely day. For the remainder of the trip our guide Jon was fantastic He was knowledgeable and flexible and fun The trip could not have been better and exceeded all expectations Europomundo made quite an effort to begin this travel season with our tour of Italy and we couldn’t be happier We highly recommend their company and will travel with them again.
We walked the whole Italian Via Francigena and though it was sometimes challenging weather-wise it was a fabulous way to really see and experience Italy. The support and organisation through UTracks was excellent!

Hi, I really enjoyed this trip.
I would suggest to put just two stops/visits for each day and not more: otherwise this could easly cause daley during the tour.
This Self-drive journey starts from Rome the capital of Italy towards the Siena Area and continues through Orvieto famous for its majestic Gothic Cathedral and the beautiful Perugia region home of the Baci (world-famous chocolate). Drive along beautiful scenic roads in the Tuscan hills. Explore the village of Montalcino and taste the famous Brunello wine. Then you will reach Bagno Vignoni renowned for its spa with a large swimming pool. Visit Pienza famous for its sheep cheese “Pecorino”. Your last stop of the day will be in Montepulciano where you will have the opportunity to taste local wines. Next day, continue your journey through Chianti Landscape, famous for its wines. Driving ahead towards San Casciano Val di Pesa where local oil and wine tasting is scheduled. Then you will reach Florence. The following day, discover Florence, renowned for Piazza della Repubblica, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio with its goldsmith's shops. Late afternoon you will depart for Bologna. The next day drives to Parma and enjoys the visit to the vinegar factory in Modena and returns to Bologna. The following day explore Bologna and in the afternoon drive through Ferrara city with a wonderful castle and reach Padua. Next day, Enjoy a visit to picturesque places in Padua: Scrovegni Chapel with Giotto's frescoes, the St Antony’s Basilica, Prato della Valle and Palazzo della Ragione. Next, you will drive to Venice, also known as The Floating City. Sail the Gondola, an iconic Venetian wooden boat and be amused by the Venice lagoon. This itinerary is a perfect example of what you’ll find in Exclusive Italy tours and packages, combining historic cities, culinary experiences, and iconic landscapes into one unforgettable journey.

The itinerary was excellent and the reason why I selected this tour. It provides coverage of all regions of the country including cities, coastal/lake regions and historical villages.
There is adequate time provided at all locations, and guide/s are helpful in explaining what to see, where to eat etc.
This would be the best coach I’ve been on with a guided tour company - helpful having power stations next to seats and seats are large and comfortable.
We had a dedicated English guide which was helpful as 95 of the group spoke Spanish and hard to follow what’s happening when it’s in another language Originally I was concerned we would miss out of the detailed information on the tour, so it’s great Europamundo provided this service. The guide Antonio was excellent and took the time to show our small English group various sites and monuments of interest. He was well informed of the history and knowledgeable - at one stage I asked someone ask “what tree is that?” and the answer was given ha Check in and itineraries were also to plan and on schedule. I felt like we could 100 trust our guide during the tour, was super reliable, and always willing to support with any queries. On a number of occasions I chose not to follow the standard itinerary in some locations, and Antonio was helpful in providing info on alternative sights in the area namely Burano and Torcello in Venice. Having a guide who has extensively travelled themselves is extremely helpful to share personal insight on where to visit and local culture.
Even though we did not have Manu as our dedicated guide as he was assigned with the Spanish part of the group, he was extremely helpful and always friendly. I never felt like it was two separate groups travelling on one trip, and the coordination/collaboration between the two guides delivered a seamless journey. The Europamundo orange jacket is actually very helpful in being able to locate the guide at meeting points easily
This is my second Europamundo trip, and the itineraries allow flexibility to spend time seeing the locations via tour and independently. Great they give time in the town centres too at night on some occasions for more meal choices ie not stuck in hotel at 5pm like other tours do.
Overall I would give the trip 10/10...the guide/s, places visited, organisation were all superb...however...three areas of feedback;
My transfer pick up on the first day was an unmarked individual/vehicle who had my name but gave no other details... I was not able to identify by brand association the pick up was with Europamundo and not a random stranger trying to get me into their car. With a previous transfer on a past Europamundo trip, the driver had signage. The driver was lovely though so not a criticism on him.
I was given a room in the Florence hotel 2xnights with a single bed, even though a single supplement was paid. I would assume this covers a double room to pay for the additional charge as part of the tour package.
The dinner meal is Salerno hotel was terrible, almost inedible
Check out in Ergife was a little less friendly than my first experience with them. And there was unnecessary questions from an individual while I was trying to ask directions at the front desk...I don’t know if he was another guide or a staff member but he was asking about Europamundo.
Thanks Europamundo

Trip was excellent. Tour Guide, Gus, was fantastic, very knowledgeable, great communicator, and made sure all of our needs were met.
Food and wine tour could not have been better. Never really liked many wines but the tastings proved me wrong. The agricultural farms were great and the food fresh and abundant.
Villages were quaint. Castle was very interesting - 34 generations living in it and continuously running a vineyard and producing wine since 1141 is unbelievable!
Looking into another food tour in another country.
Gave accommodations less rating because hotels were in old buildings and they made due with space available:
1) First 2 nights in Hotel Bologna, the room was very, very small and had 2 twin beds aligned in tandem against one wall - would not have fit any other way,
2) Hotel Le Cisterna, last 3 nights, walls were so thin we could hear every word people next door said.
