I cannot think of one thing the whole trip was fantastic or tour guide Michela , was so fantastic. You truly felt that you were family. She explained everything told us what we expect ahead of time took care of everyone’s needs and still made it so much fun a bunch of us were in our 70s and upper 70s and did not feel that we couldn’t keep up with the tour because it was done so well I think one of the best vacations that we ever took

This tour is fantastic as a history lesson on Sicily and how it has struggled to maintain a self of identity while being dominated by so many different cultures. I loved the sights that we saw on the different parts of the island - the Greek, Norman, Roman architecture all blending together is stunning!!
I wish I had really thought through the driving times that are listed on the itinerary. Being on a full tour bus for 3-4 hours many times as we drove from one part of the island to another, was uncomfortable. Coupled with long travel days at the beginning/ending of the trip, my back and leg muscles were very cramped up.
Collette does a great job of finding EXCELLENT local experts, each person was well informed and also able to interact with large groups. Our tour manager was fun, knowledgeable, and handled all of our logistics seamlessly! Kudos to Christian !!

Christina organized a fantastic first class itinerary for a 28 day tour of Italy by my wife and me. She was very personable and generous with her time and very knowledgeable of the areas we visited. The trip included incredible private tours with top notch guides and smooth transfers all the way. Any minor glitches were handled promptly and professionally. Your journey takes you along a mix of inland and coastal routes, starting amidst the Baroque splendour of Ragusa and Modica and ending in stunning Siracusa on the east coast. You'll cycle through lush valleys filled with olive trees, almond groves, vineyards and citrus orchards and patchwork puzzles of dry-stone-wall farms, as you cycle between UNESCO World Heritage Sites rebuilt in the typical late Baroque style after the famous 1693 earthquake.
