This tour gave a wonderful mix of culture, scenery, and wine. From Lisbon’s iconic sites to the serene Douro Valley, everything was carefully planned. I loved every part of it!
Enjoyable and leisurely trip, helped by blue sky and sunshine and brilliant tour leader Rocio. Tavira is pleasant and picturesque with small shops, restaurants and historic sites (recommend the Islamic Museum), nice to stroll around in the evening. Only negative comment is that walking four miles on sand isn’t easy or pleasant, even when it’s a beautiful beach.

Art lovers like me, this one’s for you. Portugal dazzled with art and faith. Two features jumped out immediately: Lisbon’s Monastery of Jeronimos, a Manueline masterpiece and Fatima, a place of deep meaning. Wandering Nazare’s windy cliffs and watching Atlantic surf pound felt elemental.
Obidos’ castle and ramparts invited daydreams of knights and medieval poets. The Gothic arches of Batalha took my breath away. Porto's tile-covered churches and artistic heritage felt soulful as we sampled local port wines beside the Douro River.
The highlight was Coimbra, Europe’s amazing academic city, steeped in history and tradition. The old university chapel’s 18th-century Portuguese Baroque design left me speechless.
Guides were enthusiastic and informative. If you love art, faith, and ocean air, this tour is a rich tapestry not to be missed.
Lisbon’s old-world charm and vibrant spirit come alive on the Lisbon Cultural Experience, City Break, 4 Days. Perfectly suited for seniors seeking a relaxed city getaway, this four-day art and architecture tour uncovers the scenic vistas and winding streets of Portugal’s capital. Wander through outdoor markets, marvel at the city’s historic quarters, and enjoy panoramic views from its famed hills. A day trip to the enchanting UNESCO-listed Sintra offers a taste of royal romance and literary inspiration. The USP: a harmonious blend of cultural exploration and authentic Portuguese gastronomy, all within a compact, easy-to-navigate itinerary.
We had wonderful trip with private tour guide Carlos. He is very professional, very knowledgeable and funny. He understood my husband's passion for photography, our interests of history and culture, our love for great food.
Thank you, Carlos
