We had an absolutely amazing time on our Annapurna circuit trek. We were a group of 4 together with our guide Binod and porters Depesh and Ashok. They took great care of us, taught us a lot about the Annapurna region and most of all made sure we were all having fun. Great people and truly amazing views. Highly recommend!

The trip is a must do for nature and Himalayan lovers. Himalayan hospitality and mightiness are found here which changes a person for good after single trip. Its the greatest humbling experience one can have.
I met Mr. Khum SUBEDI, Managing Director, in the taxi receiving me at my arrival at Kathmandu airport. We met again the next day and he proposed me a special trekking program adapted to my level of physical fitness, adding Muktinah to the Poon Hill usual program. The price was reasonable and he took news from me during the whole trip. Mr. SUBEDI is a nice guy and a real professional.
My guide, Raju KANDEL, was excellent. He was very helpful but not intrusive. He proposed an alternative plan to make the trip more interesting. The places we stayed were very well chosen. He even took good care of me when my legs were painful after going down too long
It was a pleasure to hike with him during the day and to share a beer in the evening. He was quite a friend.

All of the porters, Ganesh, Yam, and Tek was amazing. They made our trek awesome and it was hard to say goodbye. We all had a really good time together. They were genuine, fun, helpful. At one point Tek needed to walk behind with a guy that had knee pain and Yam took great care of the group with safety, humor and interesting stories about our surroundings

Trek through the rugged mountains of the Upper Mustang region of the Himalaya, the Kali Gandaki River Valley, and numerous small villages of the area on this 13-day trek. In addition to the walking adventure, you will get to see and experience the unique culture and religion of the region. The final destination, Lo Manthang, is a beautiful village in the region that offers incredible cultural immersion.
This trip starts in Kathmandu and includes a bus ride to Pokhara with time to explore the lakeside town before taking a small mountain flight to Jomsom, where the trekking starts.
The region still has some restrictions in place and you will need a special permit for the trek. We will take care of that as well as all accommodation and food on the trek. Trekking with us to Upper Mustang is traveling in safe hands!
I was initially nervous about taking the leap and joining a group tour as a solo female traveller. The itinerary is very well thought out with lots to see and do. Everyday had a highlight and the Nepalese are so friendly and inviting. The views of the Himalayas in Nagarkot and Pokhara were stunning. The hotels were in excellent locations throughout. There are walks for those who want to and options for those who don't. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, regardless of physical ability. Our tour leader, Su, was excellent and worked tirelessly to ensure our safety, enjoyment and general happiness. He is the best leader I have had out of some 27 tours. This is Explore's strong point - they know how to pick and train tour leaders and Su was the best of the best.

We cannot recommend this trip highly enough. The variety of experiences was enormous -from the craziness of Kathmandu, to the laid-back nature of Pokhara, to the jaw-dropping majesty and vastness of the mountains-we loved it all. Our guide, Jangbu Sherpa, was brilliant throughout the whole holiday. His calm and knowledgeable presence was appreciated by the whole group. He looked after us, motivated us and inspired us when the going was tough.
