I can’t recommend this trip enough. We cycled, we walked, we swam and we visited wondrous historic sites, and all with the perfect guide and friend (Abdula) who knew everything there is to know about his country, and 100% looked after us (and entertained us) from start to finish. The best part was at Petra: first by night and then "round the back from above".. but other highlights included sleeping under the stars, sunrise and sunset in the desert, just missing a sandstorm and ripping my shorts climbing down a steep rocky cliff. It was a taxing walk but really enjoyable and everyone was very pleasant.
